Where do you shop for your children's clothes? What do you do with the clothes when they outgrow them?

We shop everywhere; Gap, Old Navy, Target, Children's place, Mini Boden, Nordstrom, Gymboree- where ever I find something cute. Thankfully our friends and family are great at giving clothes for gifts, so I find I rarely have to shop for them myself.

I always pass on the clothes that I can, and donate the rest.

I shop all over. I love shopping, I cannot go to a store without stopping in the children's department to see if there is anything on sale! Plus, she gets tons of hand-me-downs from a friend of ours and after she outgrows them, we hand them down to another friend of ours.

I buy them almost anywhere. Mostly, it is JcPenney, Kohl's, and Target. Sometimes I buy from Old Navy if I get a great coupon code and it is on sale. Gymboree is too pricey for us. With twins, you have to think in twos. So, if I buy one shirt for $12, it is actually $24 because I need to buy a shirt for the other one. So, Target is my friend. When they put their Circo play clothes on sale for like $4 each, I am there. Then, I am only paying $8 for two shirts. It is the same with Kohl's Jumping Beans line. Neither line is my fave and I would prefer something nicer. I even find myself browsing Walmart. Say what!!!! I rarely buy there though. Their clothes are so cheap and they shrink and fade. Not worth the money when I can get something similar in price that is better quality. When it was just Isaiah, I bought a lot of his clothes at Old Navy and clearance Gap items. Old Navy closed and even Gap clearance is too expensive anymore. Well, they also don't seem to mark down as much as they used to, so I cannot find as much. K has a cute Gap outfit that I found on clearance though.

As for what we do with the clothes, we try to hand them down. I know no one with girls that are younger than mine. So, I just ask around for people who know someone looking for clothes. A good friend of mine now works with someone who is having twin girls. So, as long as the clothes work out for her, I told my friend she could have all of our stuff. The only problem I see is that my girls are different sizes, so we have all seasons of clothes in two different sizes. That may not work out too well.

Clearance racks at Target, Kohl's, JC Penny, and Walmart. I love it when I get a $10 off of $10 coupon for JC Penny. That's like 3-4 free things sometimes! I've gotten a few things from Ross. DS got a ton of hand me downs from my mom's coworker's daughter (random right?) from 3-6 through 24 months. Some is in the wrong season for DS, but we're keeping almost all baby clothes since we want more kids. A few things I've shipped to my friend in the Dec 11 BB who had a girl because it's either VERY GN or it's got a fighter plane on it.

I buy most of my kids clothes at Value Village. yep, I shop used. Most of the clothes are gymboree or children's place, gap etc and I can get them for $2-4 per piece. Our neighbours have kids just a bit older than mine, so they give us a ton. I occasionally splurge on clothes at the children's place or gymboree, but its always stuff that is on sale. I learned years ago to buy good names...some of the clothes we've bought DSDs are now being handed down to my DD...that's 5 or 6 kids wearing that shirt! As for what I do with it, its all in my attic. I promised my sister I would hold onto it for her...and they're having troubles conceiving. So, I cannot bear to tell her that I'm getting rid of some of it...because it would be like a slap in the face for her right now.

Wherever I find a deal! I will shop at Target, Kohl's, Macy's, the outlet mall, and any of the kid stores at the mall, anywhere online that has a deal.... We also have a "gently used children's boutique" down the street and I will stop in there once in awhile. I have found some great things there! Right now, I save J's clothes for T, and now I get to pass T's clothes to my new nephews who will be born soon!!

I actually love going to Value Village as well! You can find some great things and some with the original price tags still on them!

Well, now some of M's clothes are saved for M2. Otherwise they are donated or if they weren't even worn or just worn once or twice I'll list them on ebay and put the money in their banks. But if it's been worn it is usually donated to the rescue mission.

I tend to shop for them at Gymboree, Polo, Gap, Old Navy, Mini Boden, Macy's once in a while...
