RQOTD - Thursday

What brand of dishwasher detergent do you use? How often do you run your dishwasher?

If you don't have a dishwasher are you the main one?

Not sleeping again? :bigarmhug:

We run our dishwasher almost every day. However, we also have a bunch of dishes that we cannot put in our dishwasher for varying reasons. So, we have to wash those every other day or so. My husband and I trade off on the dishes. He probably does them more than I do.

We use Diamond (Finish) detergent. We rarely use the dishwasher, we prefer to do them by hand unless there are tons, such as a dinner party etc. Our dishwasher is old (and was cheap) and thus doensn't do a great job on dishes that have been sitting at all. We find they get cleaner when we wash them by hand. DH generally does them, but I do them from time to time. I do them on the weekend for sure, that's when I sanatize the kitchen....DH cleans like a guy Smile

I think we use the same ones as NIcole. Those little tablet thingies.

I run the dishwasher once a day, sometimes I can do every 2 days. I'm always surprised at how often I run it, considering it's just the 3 of us.

Right now we're using cheapo Walmart liquid orange scent stuff. This is the first time we've had a working dishwasher in years. I run it at least every other day since we only have enough utensils and plates for two days. I do end up hand washing a few things twice a day.

Usually run it every other day, sometimes every 3rd day. We (ahem*I*) wash the bigger dishes like pots and pans, and then all of Miles' dishes I like to wash since we don't have as many of those. We usually use Target's up&up brand, otherwise Cascade.

We use the Palmolive eco+ (the phosphate free one).

Ditto to everything. Although, I wouldn't say we have a bunch of things that don't go in the dishwasher, just some here and there. Sometimes DH will fill the dishwasher and then hand wash what is left over if we might need it the next day. Jason washes them more than I do, especially lately. My lower back is pretty sensitive these days.

Same here. We used to run it about half as much but now that we have Jordan, it seems like we go through a lot more.

I feel like I'm running it a lot lately! Every other day maybe? And I also do the pots and pans and M's dishes by hand. I use Cascade Complete.

We use Cascade Complete. I wash all the girls utensils by hand and most pots and pans. We have dishes that do not fit in our dishwasher. They are top rack only and they don't fit in the top rack. They are too tall. So crazy, and I really want a new dishwasher. We cannot justify it right now. Someday I will be able to put the girls' plastic plates in the dishwasher. Although, by then, I bet they are eating off regular plates. Lol
