If you had next Monday totally off, what would you do with it?
I'm assuming that means I have a babysitter? This is a lovely scenario to think about.
I would spend some time in a bookstore. I would have sushi with my sister. At some point I would go see a movie IN the theater! I think I would have to stop at Starbucks and sip on a latte while reading a book, even better if the weather is nice and I could sit outside. I would also go to Hobby Lobby or JoAnn's for some nursery inspiration. Could I fit all of that in? Now I want this to happen. Anyone free to babysit Monday?
I'm going to hang out with Kayla. Her day sounds pretty similar to how mine would be, minus the sushi.
Well, Monday is a holiday here Not that I have a babysitter If I had a day totally to myself, I would sleep in, linger over coffee and a book. Go for a long walk on the beach. Go to the mall and browse and maybe actually buy myself some new clothes. Linger over lunch and a chapter of my book. Have an afternoon nap. Go out for a long, romantic dinner including as much wine as I want. Watch a movie with DH and go to bed early. DTD without worrying about waking anyone up
Take a nap!!!! Go for a nice long walk. Go to lunch with a friend and have a glass of wine. Maybe have some more wine with dinner.
DH has Monday off. We're going to be packing.
If I had a day off from my family I honestly don't know what I'd do. There's really nothing to do in this town and I have no friends here.
I actually do have Monday off, but I will be spending the day with Isaiah since he does not have school. If I had a day without any obligations, I would probably go shopping, drink some coffee, read a good book, and take a nice nap.
Well, if I had someone else to watch the boys for the day. Hmmm. Let's see. This is tough!
I have two very old (good thing they don't expire) gift cards for massages. One is three years old and one is two. I'd probably try to use one of those. I'd also probably try to take my grandmother for lunch just the two of us. I'd like to find a few hours to organize my computer room. It has gotten out of control again. Go for a walk and find some time to read or write. Oh and maybe sleep in an hour or two!
Oh, come on. Sushi is gooood. Or, if you were in my neck of the woods, I could take you to a place that has sushi, flat noodle dishes, stir fry, spring rolls, boba tea, and lots of other yummy dishes. I've been craving this place all week, can you tell?
Boba tea? Is that those weird squishy eyeball drinks? :puke2: I do like me some stir-fry though! It's a date! See ya Monday!
Do you eat gummy bears? If you say yes then you like squishy eyeball like candy. I love chewing on boba. The first time I hated it and spit them out the window. Obviously I came around. Plus, you can get a milk tea without boba. Or a smoothie or fruit slush or jasmine tea.... It's all good.
I will see you then! Don't stand me up.
I don't like gummy bears either. (if it ain't chocolate, it ain't worth it) My favorite chinese place got Boba drinks and they were so excited for us to try them. I did try it, and it's not something I would want again. Same with Sushi. I tried it, not for me. Although, I would be willing to try it again. The place I had it probably wasn't serving the best sushi there is.
It's funny, cause I don't consider myself a picky eater. But if I think a lot about it, the list of foods I will not eat is much larger than the foods I will eat.
