What are your top 3 favorite ice cream flavors? If you don't like ice cream what is one of your favorite cool treats on a hot day?

1. Frozen yogurt. The tart or regular flavor. I put strawberries and cookie dough in it. Yum! This is my new favorite treat! And I love that it's fairly low cal, as long as I don't go over board with the cookie dough.
2. Baskin Robins use to have a Daiquiri Ice flavor that I LOVED. They changed it though and added lemon or lime or something goofy to it, and only bring out the original seasonaly. They lost my business when they did that. Sad
3. Bryers Cookie and Cream. What I buy when I buy ice cream from the grocery store. Which is almost never, because I have no self- control and eat it all right away.

Speaking of low cal ice cream, I made this one night and it was surprisingly good! Jordan loved it too and I didn't have to feel so guilty about letting her indulge.

ETA: I did the chocolate peanut butter one but I don't think I added any sweetener to it that I can recall (she says to add maple syrup or honey). I did have to thin it a little with some milk to get the right consistency. It ended up just like soft serve ice cream.

I've seen that recipe around, Kayla. Some day I'll have to stop being lazy and try it. We've been walking to the Froyo place by us A LOT lately. (becayse that seems like less work than making something myself. Apparently) It's nice cause it's all self serve, so I can get the kids tiny amounts of their own bowl. They can get indulgent flavors (Ava likes Red velvet and Andrew likes the cookie and cream one) and still have it be low cal and a healthier treat. But in all honestly, I suggest it more than they ask because the tart flavor is just soooo darn good and only 15 calories an ounce! Wink

Kayla, if you have one near you, you should check it out. Mine has those eyeball thingies. And I think of you every time I see them. Smile

Lol, BOBA! Love me some boba. Biggrin Of course, it's probably best in a milk tea and I haven't had one of those in forever since I'm mostly caffeine free right now. I do get the ice blended coolers (fruit mixture and ice with some unhealthy syrups I'm sure) and I get boba with those.

I want to say we have a froyo place that just opened up kind of close. I haven't been in there yet. I wonder if they have boba at that one. I mean eyeball thingies. Smile We do have a frozen custard place that is delish. Not low cal though!

3. Cookie Dough

Which reminds me - I really should break out my ice cream maker! It came with a great coffee ice cream recipe.

My 4th favorite is Watermelon Sherbet.
