Does your dh eat breakfast before he leaves the house in the morning? What does he typically have? For those that have dh's that are gone for work; when they are home for time off do they eat breakfast? Do they ever cook breakfast for you on a day off?
DH generally has a protein shake in the mornings when he has to work. On days when I prepare breakfast and he is home, he eats whatever we are eating. If I leave before breakfast is served, he and the kids have cereal. I have NEVER known the man to cook breakfast...he is NOT a morning person and it is extremely rare for him to be up and moving before I am.

Dh eats breakfast on the weekends, but I highly doubt he eats it during the week. He leave his hotel early so he misses most things that are open and just drinks coffee. He does make breakfast at home often. He's pretty helpful in the kitchen to give me a break. Most weekends he makes the kiddos French Toast, so he has that as well. He lets me sleep in and will make me eggs when I get up.
I know DH eats breakfast because he leaves everything sitting on the counter for me to clean. Thankfully it's mostly been cereal recently. Sometimes he'll make himself scrambled eggs. He used to get a bit more adventurous but hasn't been since we don't have much kitchen stuff currently. He usually doesn't eat breakfast on his days off. Maybe once in a blue moon he'll fix me breakfast. Usually just scrambled eggs.
Since DH is doing the stay-at-home dad thing right now, I know he eats breakfast because he has to feed Alison. I have no idea what he makes but I am sure it is something good because he cooks breakfast on the weekends and it is always something yummy.
Dh has to be to work at 530, so he doesn't eat breakfast at home before he leaves. He makes the breakfast at the store to sell - so he eats there for free every day. He has sausage/egg/cheese croissant or something like that.
On the weekends he is always the one to make breakfast. He usually makes himself eggs or pancakes with some sort of meat - sidepork or sausage usually. He asks me if I want something and will make that, too. He is a huge breakfast person.
Is it better than bacon? I'm a big believer of bacon. Sidepork is sounding like something I need to try.
