What is your children's favorite meal? Their favorite thing to drink? Their favorite snack?
Jordan doesnt really have a favorite meal since I can rarely get her to eat what I've made. She will also gobble something up one day and turn her nose up at it the next. Yogurt isn't a meal but it's one of her favorite foods. She also loves PB so that is given to her on bread or crackers at some point most days.
She only drinks water and milk so I would have to go with milk as being her favorite.
Her favorite snack is either cereal or Annie's snack mix.
Favorite meal for both kiddos is- Pizza. Cheese pizza
Favorite drink- Either milk or water. Like Kayla, that is all they drink.
Favorite snack- Ava likes fruit leathers. Andrew likes his "juice" which are those squeeze pouches of baby food.
Meal, hot dogs. EWWW! I try to buy good ones anyhow. DJ also loves broccoli.
To drink, Alicia likes milk, DJ likes "juice" - 20% OJ with water. Lately he's been asking for water a lot
To snack, Alicia likes grapes or apple slices, DJ likes raisins.

Alison's favorite is brocolli. She loves it. No salt, no butter...just plain steamed brocolli.
She only gets milk and water so I would say that milk is her favorite though.
Her favorite snack is either banana or apple slices.
What is your children's favorite meal? Loves my whole wheat mac and cheese. And apparently he loves red beans and rice, which is funny b/c other than this meal he won't touch beans or rice.
Their favorite thing to drink? Boob juice.
Their favorite snack? cheese, grapes, and he likes to eat fruit snacks with DH
I wish Jordan would (or could) snack on fruit more! About 10% of the time she will actually eat some apple. That means swallowing, not just chewing and spitting out, which happens often. The other day she stole my banana and finished off the last half. Last night she stole my banana and most went in the trash after she made it all mushy. I didn't want a warm, mushy banana.
Jordan still cannot have raspberries, blackberries, grapes, oranges or cherries. All of these give her horrible diaper rash. It's really too bad because she loves all of them. She wouldn't get the "junky" snacks as much if I had more options for her.
She is also inconsistent with cheese. Some days she eats it like crazy and the next day she will not touch it. Yesterday I sliced it into triangles and she ate them all up. Toddlers!!! She ate it just because it was different and fun. Maybe circles are next?
Kayla- We did a lot of cookie cutters to change things up. Ava gave up sandwiches, until I let her pick out new cookie cutters. She perfered the smaller cutters, where I could get 4 or more shapes from the sandwich, over one big shape. Worked well for cheese too.
Amber, I love that idea! We do PB sandwiches a lot for Jordan. I've tried ham and turkey without much success. She also gets the occasional grilled cheese. (Side note: I need to find some time to puree some veggies to sneak into her grilled cheese sandwiches. *evil mommy laugh*) I need to look for some cookie cutters. I want to say Hobby Lobby is a good place to look?
Yes! Try Hobby Lobby, Michaels...all of those places. Let Jordan pick one out. I just use my Christmas cookies cutters. They came with a big and little of every shape, and they were cheap. I got them at one of those crafty places.
Ava won't eat a meat sandwich, unless they are in bear shapes. Our conversations go like this:
me: Hey, Ava. Do you want a turkey sandwich for lunch?
Ava: NO! I don't like that.
me: Okay, how about a Bear sandwich?
Ava: Oooo! Yes! I love bear sanwiches! Thank you, Mommy!
This trick does not work for Andrew. But 1 out of 2, I consider a success!
