It was probably a Harry Potter movie. I want to watch The Hunger Games, but DH has not read the books yet. So, I will patiently wait. I have a feeling the movie will not compare to my view of the books though.
I always prefer to read the books first when possible. It is nice to envision the characters and setting yourself without Hollywood creating it for you.
It was the Twighlight series. I always prefer to read the book first. I did see Pride and Pejudice before I read the book and still loved reading it though.
It was probably the Harry Potter books. I generally won't watch a movie that I've read the book, they never live up to how I pictured things or the characters are all wrong for what I pictured in my head.

IDK.... I have the first of the Hunger Games sitting on my night stand, does that count? ;) Finding time to read has been near impossible lately.
Hunger Games. It was the last movie I saw in theatre. I read that book little over a year ago.
It really depends on the move/book if I care to read the book or not. Some I do, some I don't. Sometimes I read the book first, sometimes not. Doesn't really bother me either way.
