RQOTD - Tuesday

What is your favorite kind of fruit? When you make fruit salad, what do you tend to put in it? What is your LO('s) favorite fruit?

I love it all...but if I have to pick just one, I'll go with Clementines.

Miles loves apples. That's the only fruit-fruit that he will eat.

I love berries. Especially blackberries and raspberries. Both boys love blackberries, raspberries, strawberries, blueberries, bananas and kiwi. Not sure I could say which are their favorite because they eat all of those right up. They like apples, too, but not as much as the rest. Neither of them have really gotten into oranges. Clementines are good, Ashley!

For fruit salad I tend to put blueberries, blackberries, strawberries, raspberries, and grapes with lime juice. Sometimes I'll add watermelon and/or cantaloupe.

I love strawberries! Second favorite is watermelon. I am soooo happy to be in an area that has tons of locally grown strawberries. We've already had some really good, sweet ones this year. Just waiting for watermelons to come down in price so I can engorge! lol
I have never made a fruit salad.
Aiden loves fruit! He has a banana every morning with breakfast. He's a huge fan of red and black grapes, strawberries, pineapple, blueberries, and pears without the skin.

I love berries. Any berry will do Smile DJ's favourite is blackberries. Alicia loves strawberries. When I make a fruit salad, I tend to put in pineapple, berries, kiwi, grapes and oranges. I don't like bananas much and DJ is allergic to melons.

I always have strawberries, blueberries, grapes and bananas. I would say one of the berries is my favorite. Right now my favorite thing to do with fruit is mix the strawberries with balsamic vinegar. It's soo good! Sometimes if I want something sweeter, I'll add some chocolate chunks in there with it.

I also like to make a fruit salad with grapes, strawberries, blueberries, banana and a carton of vanilla yogurt. Simple and delicious.

Ava will eat Bananas but as far as fruit, that's it. Andrew wil not touch fruit in it's whole state. Thankfully he'll suck those baby food pouches dry though.

I love cantelope but unfortunately it tries to kill me every time I eat it soooo....I can't eat it but it is still my favorite! Next I suppose would be strawberries.

I like fruit salad with bananas, apples, strawberries and grapes...with vanilla yogurt. Very yummy.

Alison's favorite is bananas. She loves them. I think she eats one a day.

I also love berries. Blackberries are probably one of my favorites but they are all good.

I don't ever make fruit salad! I think I eat it once or twice a year when we have family gatherings and someone else makes it.

Jordan's preferences change day to day, but she will almost always eat applesauce, but only occasionally eat (and SWALLOW) a bite of apple. She likes grapes, but she only gets one or two at a time because of diaper rash. She loves oranges, but they do horrible things to her bottom. A lot of "buts" in there, huh?

Alison LOVES oranges, but if she eats them she will vomit. Ew.

Poor kid! I always feel bad when Jordan sees someone eating an orange. She will want some but we just remind her that they hurt her bottom. I had grapes the other day and she really wanted some. She gobbled up the two that I gave her and, thankfully, her bottom handled it okay. The last time we tried giving her about four and she had a rash the next day. Sad

Yes, I think she will be fine since they don't hurt her tummy. Now, as far as a timeline on the potty training, I have no idea!!! I've introduced the potty but, to me, she doenst seem quite ready. Plus, I'm not in a hurry. I figure the timing may be better a few months from now.
