Have you ever flown in a helicopter? If so, where were you? If not, would you if the opportunity came up?

No, I have not. And no, I would not! I'm not a good commercial flyer so I seriously doubt if I'd do well on a helicopter. My husband has been on military helicopters and one pleasure ride helicopter and hated every experience. He says it's too unsettling knowing that if something goes wrong the main course of action is to dive to the ground and pull back last second hoping to turn the propellers just enough to help soften the blow. His good buddy is a military helio pilot and says he thinks it's fun to practice emergency landings like those.

No I have not and I was going to say yes, I would ride in one if the opportunity arose, until I read Jackie's response!

No, I have not. I think I would if given the opportunity (even after reading Jackie's post ).
