What is your worst dating experience?
~Ashley
I don't have much dating experience, DH and I started dating in high school. But I did have a bad date when I was 16 with a guy from work who begged me for months to go out with him. I wasn't interested, but he was a nice guy and I felt bad for him, so I finally said yes. He took me to see Titanic and he held both my hands the WHOLE time. He was nervous so his hands were sweaty. I couldn't get away because he had a death grip and I was too timid to tell him to let go. The next time I worked, he showed up with flowers, a necklace and chocolate. It was so uncomfortable. I worked in a nursing home as a CNA, he worked in the kitchen. I tried to avoid him and let him know I was not interested, but he would follow me around and wait for me outside of residents rooms. It finally took a 80 year old women telling him to very bluntly to back off before he got the hint.
Amber - poor thing. I hate being timid sometimes because it makes people think something you aren't thinking. I'm the same way.
Mine was when I went on a blind date with a guy. It was a double date with a friend and her BF and the guy was her BFs BFF. He was a total douche. He drank the whole date, even before we left his house and then he was the one driving us to the movies. He tried to put the moves on me the entire time and then he tried kissing me goodbye. Nasty guy, yuck! Last time I ever went out with the girl and her BF too...if her taste in guys was that bad I didn't want to be around them.
I think I have blocked out the whole dating thing.I have been with my DH since I was 19 and dated someone for over 2 years in HS. There was a guy in college who was a little shady. He just wanted to talk about his sex experiences the whole time. Blech! Talk about uncomfortable.
Um....I had a blind date that showed up smelling like cows! Then he wanted to drive me home in his sports car. He told me I'd fit right into his family. He, his brother and brother's wife lived in the family farm house with his mother. Um...NO. It took several hints for him to back off too!

Amber, the image of a guy holding both your hands during a movie is hilarious!
Nothing too bad here. I asked a guy out from work once and it turned out we had nothing in common. It was just one of those awkward dates that you want to be over as soon as possible. I also embarrassed myself because I went to the bathroom during the movie we were seeing and when I came back I couldn't find him b/c the theater was pitch black. I just stood in the isle like an idiot until he finally stood up so I could see him.
I was thinking the same thing Amber and was cracking up at the thought of that. LOL!
I don't have too many terrible dating experiences, but thought it would be funny to hear if you guys did.Phew! Glad those days are over with!
