    Question RQOTD - Wednesday

When was the last time you turned your cell phone off (not just on silent)?

Last week at the hospital for the whole 10 minutes I got to be with jus in recovery. They are hardcore there about no cell phones.

Mine turns off all the time. I need to replace it in a bad way (Andrew has dropped in a few too many times) It currently is not working at all. but if I put a little effort into shaking it around, I can get it to come alive again. I need to go get a new one. Maybe I'll send Hubby out to get me one this weekend.

Under normal circumstances, I'm not a big phone person, so I often have the phone off. That way I can tell people I didn't answer their calls/texts because my phone was off, and not because I was being a jerk and screening them (which I do 80% of the time).

Does turning it off and then immediately on to cycle it count?

I had my old cell and my new cell both off for about 30 minutes earlier this month as part of setting up a new phone.

My family and friends know that I don't answer calls. Its a running joke for them. They call, I don't answer, they text and I text back. I hate talking on the phone.

Jenn, I hate talking on the phone too! My sister often calls me in the evenings. Like tonight, right after I got Miles to sleep I noticed I had a missed call from her (had my phone on silent) but I didn't call her back. I just got a break, I don't want to talk on the phone!

I don't remember the last time I turned it off.

I'm not a big talk on the phone person either. My phone is always on. It's on silent/ vibrate 99% of the time. And when I'm at home, it is usually in my purse or diaper bag.
