I know it's still more than a month away but any plans for Mother's Day? What would you like to do this year?
Julie
I'd like dinner out so I don't have to cook or clean. Maybe spend the day out in Raleigh or Jacksonville enjoying shopping and something as a family since there isn't much locally. Though realistically that would have to be done the day before since Sundays are required study days at work for DH.

I like to plant my flowers on Mother's Day. Dh takes the kiddos out to pick them out and get me breakfast (Cinnamon rolls and coffee!) while I get to sleep in. Then we plant and maybe go for a walk, if there is time.
I would also like to NOT have to cook or clean all day long. Or, deal with any non-fun kids stuff (like fits and tantrums)
Hmmmm, no idea. Ideally, I would like to sleep in - but that depends on DH's schedule. I would like to go out and do something fun....maybe the zoo?

I would love breakfast in bed. I'd like to eat it alone while watching something great on TV. Then, after I've had some quiet time, we could all go out and do something fun as a family. I'm not really sure what. I actually told DH this today. I doubt he will remember by the time Mother's Day rolls around.![]()
I'm not going to set my expectations too high so I'm not disappointed.Eating out sounds nice so I don't have to cook or clean up the mess that comes with it.
