RQOTD - Wednesday

When is the last time you went out for breakfast? What did you order? Where did you go?

I don't remember! Probably when Miles was about a year and a half. I always order "dip eggs" (eggs over easy).

Monday morning we went to Waffle House as a family. We spent the weekend camping and woke up to thunder that morning. We packed up as fast as we could before the rain hit and pretty much the only establishment we weren't underdressed for was Waffle House.
I ordered scrambled eggs, raison toast, grits, bacon, and hashbrowns. Apparently I was hungry.

A few weeks ago we went to Ol' South Pancake House with my parents. It's been around since the 60's and they are famous for their German pancakes. I ordered breakfast burritos to avoid the dairy. The German pancakes are so incredibly delicious though.

Does breakfast for dinner count? I took the kids to IHOP a little over a week ago. Yep, just me and three kids. I was desperate because I did not want to cook, and Craig had softball. I had 2 Harvest Nut and Grain pancakes, two eggs, hash browns, and two sausage links. My kids divided the sausage links and Keira ate half my eggs and hash browns. We have breakfast for dinner every Wednesday at our house. It takes the pressure off of figuring out what to eat and the kids love it.

Last saturday on the way to my parent's for the weekend. DH was hungry so we hit one of the famous breakfast places here. I had 2 eggs, peameal bacon and whole wheat toast. DH had everything on the menu (they call it the slam)...and couldn't finish it. Alicia had french toast and DJ had a waffle.
