Thread: RQOTD - Weekend Edition

What part of your daily routine bores you, but it must be done anyways?

Showering, drying my hair, fixing it and doing my make up. I hate doing it all but I have to in order to be presentable for work.

Dishes. I hate doing dishes because I'm standing in one position. There's nothing to entertain me really. And my back always ends up hurting because our sink and counters are so low!

Getting dressed and doing my hair each day. I usually hang out in pj pants until I need to leave somewhere.

Ditto! I'd stay in my jammies all the time, if I could. The second I walk in the door, if i have no where else to be, I change back into them too.

I hate having to feed the dog and get breakfast for Daphne at 5:45/6am every freaking morning. My child is a morning person and it KILLS me. I could do without having to function that early.

I'd say it a tie between cleaning up the kitchen and picking up the toys. I detest each, yet each must be done...and usually by me!

Girls, I don't get the hair and makeup thing...I love that time as its the only time I get to my self each day. I make DH take the kids while I get ready...its my sanity time before work.

I'm not sure. Like Nicole I like how my time getting ready is almost like "me" time. Gives me time to unwind or plan out my day. That being said I love being in comfy clothes while at home. I also don't love doing the dishes but at night I do. Again, me time. Break from chasing the 22lb crazy 10mth old. I think my arms need the rest sometimes. lol

Ah, see. It's not "me time" in this house. I get ready with 2 grabby hands trying to steal hot curling irons, crying when the blow dryer is on and insisting they get make-up put on too. or, they run around wild in the house fighting over toys.

Dishes rank at the top. Sweeping and cleaning my kitchen is probably high on my list too. On work days, I also hate getting ready, but I think that is more because it is at 5:30 in the morning rather than because I hate to do it. I love the shower part. It is "me" time and I love taking a really hot shower and relaxing.
