    Question RQOTD - Weekend Edition

Do you wear nailpolish? What is your favorite color? Brand? When was the last time you bought so or received some as a gift?

When I'm not in school, yes. I'm not allowed to wear it during clinical because it can harbor bacteria. Right now I have a really deep brick red on my hands and feet. I got that color as a gift from my friend when we went for mani/pedis right before Christmas. It's OPI. Usually I wear some shade of dark red or pink on my toes and if my fingernails are done as well, they're normally a nude tone.

I don't really own any I use but when I get my nails done I usually do a deep red on my toes and a French manicure on my hands. My fingernails grow so fast that if I wear red then in a few days you can see the growth.

Normally I do not wear any on my fingers but I almost always have my toes painted. The last color I bought was a bright orange for the summer.

I really like wearing nail polish but I pick at it, so it never last long. The few I seem to alternate between for Fall and Winter are...

Yes, I wear nail polish. I don't usually bother during the school year, with painting my fingers, because it comes off at work with all the chemicals really fast. I always paint my toes. For my fingers, I generally choose red, or pink in the summer. My toes vary. Red usually. Right now they are bright green. My kids are into our weekly manis and pedis right now. I bought kid safe nail polish (wee piggies) that I use to paint their fingers and toes each week after they get their nails trimmed. It works really well, they look forward to the weekly activity and don't fight the trimming because afterwards they get "paint". They insist that I do my toes too. I bought green and blue for DJ for his stocking...so he picked last week...and we all have green toes

I don't ever paint my fingernails. What's the point when it's going to chip after a day no matter how expensive the brand is and how many top coats I put on?
I do paint my toenails. I don't really have a brand I like. I just pick out colors I like. I've been on a red kick this past year and rotate through three different shades.
I got some bubble gum pink nail polish from a baby shower I went to last fall. I hate the color and ended up throwing it away.

I only paint my fingernails for special occasions. I wash my hands so much that it tends to start chipping pretty quickly and that bugs me. I used to always have my toe nails painted but now I've started to leave them alone more during the winter months. If I leave them painted all of the time then I find the nail isn't as healthy. They would look so gross after months and months of constant nail polish and now they actually look nice since they get some air time. As far as brands, I buy a little of everything. Sometimes I go for cheap but if I have an Ulta coupon then I splurge on a brand like Essie. I love pinks, purples and occasionally I will do something more out there, like turquoise.

I received the muppets opi mini collection for Christmas:

    http://www.amazon.com/OPI-Muppet-Min.../dp/B005RSZVR2

I currently have warm & fozzie on my toes.

I like my toes painted in the summer time. If I have the time (or in this case get a new color I want to try) I'll do my toes in the winter. I don't generally wear anything on my nails but I'll throw on a clear coat if I have a special occasion going on or this OPI color I have similar to the bubble bath that Amber shared. Although it is more white than pink. Can't remember what it is called off the top of my head.

This is making me miss when I lived in the city and I got a weekly mani/pedi during my lunch break at Bloomienails. So cheap and so good. I think I only paid $20 for a mani/pedi and tip. Here it's upwards of $40 for a mani/pedi. I wish I had an excuse like needing to wear a suit regularly to do it more often.
