RQOTD - Weekend Edition

We talked about hubby's "toys" yesterday, what are your toys? ROFL Again, not those types of toys...

Well! Just when I think I'm surrounded by classy ladies... Wink

Let's see, I like crafts so I have lots of stamps, ink, a die cut machine, and all that jazz. I also have a bunch of stuff to make some hair accessories for Jordan and Nora. (Yes, she has pretty much been officially named!)

I love my iPod and my iPhone. In fact, I'm trying really hard to put my phone down more.

One of my favorite toys is my car. We have a few precious months left to spend together and then it is minivan city. Noooooooooooo!

Kayla- You don't have to get a mini-van. What about a SUV? I have a Toyota Highlander and I really like it! It drives like a car and fits us well. It also has 3rd row seating and can seat 8. The only thing I do not like is that I cannot fit 2 dogs, 2 kids and the double stroller in it. Although, that's my fault for having extra large car seats, and extra large stroller and 2 estra large dogs. Although, I can fit in Bob and all my groceries, so it works out. I do understand you can't argue with the praticallity of a mini-van.

I'm a hobbyer...hobbyist(?) I like to try new things quite often. I have lots of craft stuff, from sewing and knitting to painting. My biggest and best "toys" were my horses. But I had to give them up last year because I just didn't have the time for them that I had hoped. The kids hated being at the barn, and my horses were not ones who were happy being stuck in a stall. I also just got an Iphone yesterday. So I've been playing with that quite a bit. Smile

Let's see...toys. I love my phone. And I have tons of craft stuff for card making and scrapbooking. In fact right now I am making flowers to put on the goodie bags for Alison's birthday party next month!

 I cannot believe our girls are about to turn two.

We've talked about getting a crossover. Whatever we get, I want it to be roomy but not feel like I'm driving a huge vehicle. I also prefer they feel of riding in a car over an SUV so we will have to do some test drives first.

TWO? Wow. Next month does seem crazy!

I guess my only toy is probably my Cricut. I don't play with it very often these days though.

We have a RAV4 and I LOVE it. Seriously love it. I will not get rid of it till we need to fit 3 kids back there (which may not ever happen lol). Blum 3

I'm rather addicted to my iPhone and Macbook.
I also have quite a few baby carriers. They're very fun to me. lol

Kayla - I still have my car. Love it and didn't think I'd have to part with it and so far I haven't. We also have a Jeep Grand Cherokee but I am always using my car when I leave with the two of them during the day. The two car seats fit well in the back. Trunk holds the stroller well. Good to go!

To the original question - I don't really have any toys. I guess my phone would have to been one since I tend to text quite a bit. And my computer.

I wish we could keep mine but if we put a car seat behind the driver's side then Jason will not be able to drive my car. We put Jordan behind the driver's side at first and he was pushed right up into the steering wheel. Strange thing is that my car is not a compact car so I don't know how we run out of room so fast!

It is probably the type of carseat. They also make carseats so much bigger anymore. It is crazy! We do fit 3 across in our Camry though. So, it can be done. You can put Jordan in the middle (as long as your car manual says that it is okay) and put the baby on the passenger side. We are headed for a mini-van, but only because Isaiah definitely will not fit between his sisters much longer. A booster seat will not fit in any position with the other carseats, and we have SK Radians!!!! So, once we can afford it, we will be getting a Toyota Sienna. I am not in love with minivans, but I think my kids will love the extra room.

As for toys, I love my Macbook and my iPhone. I have a lot of Zumba clothes. Do those count as toys? I sure do spend money on them! Lol

Books? Do books count? I have a tablet and a lot of craft stuff...those are my toys. I also have a kayak and a lot of camping/backpacking gear.
