What do you usually make yourself for lunch?
It depends. This week I was using a lot of leftovers from M's birthday party. Especially the first couple days. Generally, I try to be good for lunch but lately I've gotten in the habit of finishing what Matthew hasn't finished and sometimes Michael, too. I need to stop this! Unless I'm not going to make myself anything! LOL
Sometimes lunch is yogurt, sandwich, carrots and hummus for the boys. Yes, they both love hummus. Or sometimes it's macaroni and cheese and some berries, or...it really varies. Monday and Tuesday all Michael wanted was cheese, crackers, pepperoni, grapes, cucumbers and hummus. LOL
I eat a lot of veggies with hummus too. Andrew asks for Hummus, almost hourly. He loves it, so I serve it to him with lunch and snack on it myself while doing stuff.
Today I had corn dogs, which were delicious! But generally I just snack or eat nothing at all.
On my work days, I always pack a sandwich/yogurt/ protein bar/ fruit for the day. When I'm at home, I will eat a sandwich, small bowl of pasta or something else that is quick and easy. The boys usually get a pb&j, turkey & cheese sandwich, quesadilla, or corn dog on most occasions.
Aiden and I usually eat the same things for lunch, leftovers if we have them! Each week I'll choose something else to make for our lunches. One week I'll make up veggie burgers, another week homemade hummus, another week homemade mac and cheese with veggies, etc. Usually I'll turn to my own toddler list for ideas of what to fill in - http://mrsseamonster.blogspot.com/2012/02/toddler-lunches-going-beyond-chicken.html.
