Sorry on being MIA xp

Oh where do I begin?!!? Ok. So in the beginning of October we left for vacation to Disney. We had a call 8 hours later that our home was broken into at 4 pm on a Sunday. They took two laptops and a few pieces of jewelry. Of course the neighbors saw nothing. A week later they returned to another home on the back part of our street again in the day. I'm alone until 7 or 8 pm every night with the kids so you can imagine my fear. We decided that since our lease is up this December that we should just move. So we are going north 5 hours to my in-laws who have an empty mother-in-law quarters on their property. DH will work remotely and drive to South FL once a month for 5 work days. Then we can save loads of money and decided where we want to relocate when Grace starts school next Fall. We are thinking the Sebring area in FL. Palm Beach County is just getting more and more scary and unaffordable. We don't sleep well and DH worries about us all day at work. In the area we'd like to move the rent will be about $500 less for what we have now. Can't ask for more than that. I know the economy is not helping crime in all areas but here it's just crazy.

The kids are doing well. Ben is a lean playing machine these days. We are doing solids 3 times a day and he's rolling, flipping and crawling backwards. He's so active I'm pretty sure that's why he doesn't weigh quite 16 lbs yet. He loves his big sister and they really play well together. Grace is doing well. She has been busy learning so much for that abcmouse.com site. It's really fun for her. She is excited to be moving where she'll see her Mema more. I'm sad she'll be giving up her dance class but she'll have a heated pool to play in and a huge yard anytime she wants.

Despite what happened we did have a great trip. I'm sure most of you saw the Disney pics on FB. So just wanted to update you ladies and let you know I should be around more after our move in 3 weeks.

Oh, no, Beth! I cannot imagain how violated you must feel knowing someone has been in your home and took and went through your things. Sad I'm so sorry. That is one of my biggest fears.

It's sounds like a good move and I hope you're happier there.. You should feel safe in your own home. And, having family close by will be nice too.

That is scary and Amber nailed it when she said you probably feel violated. Someone broke into my car last Dec and I felt that way, I can't imagine my house. I hope you guys are much happier at your ILs house!

hi Beth! It's good to see you! I'm sorry to hear about your home being broke into -- how awful!! I'm glad you'll be able to move closer to family. I'm sure there will be a new dance class for Grace to join that she'll love just as much!

I am so sorry to hear your house was broken into. I completely understand your fears. We've had a couple of daytime break-ins just down the street from us recently and I even called the local PD to find out what I could do to keep us as safe as possible. It's so unfortunate that people resort to stealing from others. Sad

I'm so glad to hear you all have a place to go that will make you feel safer. It sounds like you have some busy times ahead! Good luck with the move! I hope the kids enjoy their new home and being close to family.

OMGosh! How awful. I can't imagine how you were feeling. I am glad you managed to have a great trip, despite this horrible experience. Good luck with the move. It sounds like a win win situation for you at this time!

I recently saw advertisement for the website you mentioned. I need to check it out. Now I'm curious! Smile
