thanks for the help, amber!!http://shootingallens.posterous.com/introducing-the-new-master-bathroom
and the backstory here:http://shootingallens.posterous.com/didnt-see-that-coming
I love it, Holly! The floors are gorgeous.
Also -- congrats on selling your condo! That must be a huge relief!!
Ditto everything Ashley said. It all came togeter so well! I hope to have a very similar look once we get to our bathroom.
And I agree- yay on selling the Condo!
Wow! Sorry you had to have that unexpected renovation! We had a leak once, but thankfully our house was still under warranty!
Your new bathroom looks great! I like the frameless shower. We have the frameless shower door and it is easier to keep clean! The flooring looks great, too.
Sorry that happened, Holly, but your new bathroom looks fabulous!!!
Also, congrats on selling!!!
I've been following along on your blog - I love the remodel. The bathroom floors are beautiful. Those and the completely separated sinks are my favorite! I love my man but I wish his sink was further away from mine so people didn't think I was the messy one.
Whatever, Jenn. We know it's you!
Okay, Amber and Holly I need to know what tiles you used! We are re-flooring our walkout living room and I HATE carpet there b/c with 2 kids and a dog, carpet will always be ruined. Hardwood not such a good idea b/c of our Labrador. We are looking at higher end laminates but I'm hesitant b/c well...it's laminate. I looked briefly at the ceramic/porcelain that looks like wood but it didn't look very nice. And Holly...in the picture it really does look a lot like wood. How does it look up close?
Edited...just saw the link on your blog.
Wow, it looks great now! At least you get a happy ending from it.
The frameless shower is awesome. Looks great!
Gorgeous! I love it. I am sorry you had the unexpected remodel, but it turned out so nice. I will have to keep that floor tile in mind for our bathroom. We are still using an old 80s look with peeling wallpaper. We just don't have the extra $ for a remodel yet. Soon though, I hope.

it looks great up close! i think the secret is as-thin-as-possible grout lines and really dark grout. we used one called burnt molasses or something like that and the grout lines are like 1/18th of an inch.

we didn't either. i had to borrow from my dad. but now that we're finally condo free, i hope to pay him back quickly.
