Yay for the weekend!! Tomorrow AM we are going to the Clark County Home and Garden Expo. Should be fun. We will hopefully get some great ideas for our backyard. Oh...and I need to go to the grocery store and I also need to go to Lady Foot Locker and get some new sneakers. Saturday night my parents are coming over for dinner. Sunday will just be a relaxing day. Thank goodness.

Hope everyone has a great weekend!!!

I have to work tonight. I'm being cross-trained to our medical and Oncology floors, and not exactly by choice. Bleh!

Tomorrow Andrew has swim class, then we are going to the memorial for Brynley, the baby G's cousin lost. Sad Ava also has her first Swan Lake pratice that day. I feel awful we'll have to leave the memorial early, but if Ava doesn't go to pratice, she can't dance.

Sunday Ava has swim class, then I have to work on the medical floor again. Kinda a downer of a weekend for us.

I am planning on recovering. My hubby was gone all week. We are not used to him being gone, so it is always an adjustment for the kids. I am so tired and my house is a mess. We were literally only home Monday and Tuesday (and the house was crazy with all the family we had last weekend). Isaiah had school events the past two nights and I teach Zumba on Wednesday nights. So, I had no time to even think about cleaning. I was lucky to get Isaiah to bed by 9. I am just lazy enough that the idea of washing dishes at 9:30 at night makes me want to crawl under my covers. So, I watched TV instead. Lol

This morning the kids and I picked up some groceries. This evening we have my step-grandma's visitation and prayer service. She passed away on Saturday after battling cancer for 2 years. The cancer basically overtook her body, she was only 61. We have to bring both the kids with us tonight and I'm dreading it. Everybody who would normally watch them isn't able to. I'm not worried about how Miles will behave, but I am worried about Vivian.

Tomorrow morning I have to clean the house and get things set up for Sunday. We have a birthday party to attend 1.5 hours away so will be gone majority of the day.

Sunday my sister and I are hosting a Crafternoon at my house. I am SO excited! ((I got the idea here: http://www.martawrites.com/2010/12/how-to-host-craft-party.html )) We're doing a Spring Crafternoon so have a few 'spring-like' projects planned. Dh has to bowl during that, so MIL is going to watch Miles at her house and I'll just have Vivi there with us.

We went to the Home and Garden Expo and I got a palm tree! I am so excited...I love palm trees. And the best part is that the palm tree we got has been completely climatized to the Pacific Northwest. It won't die with all the rain we get! YAY!

Amber & Ashley... so sorry for your losses Sad

Amber - I hope Ava'a swim & dance brought some joy to you all this weekend!

Ashley - I hope your craft party was a lot of fun!

Mel - I hope you got some much deserved rest!

Kristi - I love going to the home & garden shows. They're so fun! What kind of palm did you get?

We had a busy weekend of cleaning, t-ball, and yesterday we went to Legoland. Fun!

A Chinese Windmill Palm...apparently they can grow to be 20-40 feet! But for right now, it is tiny and in a pot! Smile

Nice! I love palms. We have a few different palms that are really starting to take off in terms of growth. We planted most of them 5-7 years ago.

Alison was just as excited about the palm tree as I was. I guess she learned that palm trees are cool from me!
