What are you getting your hubby?
I need ideas for both of us.
This is my list:http://www.amazon.com/registry/wishlist/1AKP1V6C9XDHN/ref=cm_wl_rlist_go_o
Joy- I just got those red Tom's about a month ago. I L.O.V.E them! I also have that same stethoscope.
DH and I don't exchange Christmas gifts other than PJs on Christmas Eve. BEST DECISION WE EVER MADE!
This year he's getting a new robe instead of PJs. I am slipping a new watch in the pocket, but that's more of a "congrats for surviving survival training" than a Christmas present.
I have NO idea what to get DH. I know he wants new strings for his guitar but other than that I am drawing a complete blank. ACK!!
DH and I only do stockings. He is getting an e-reader, socks underwear, a book by a local author, a new pillow and a few other small gifts to fill up the stocking. We usually put a $100 limit on the stocking but I've gone over by about $50...oops.
On my christmas list: new perfume, itunes gift card, necklaces, earrings, a pasta attachment for my stand mixer, a soup cookbook put out by one of the local charities.
DH and I don't exchange gifts anymore. We usually buy something that we both want like a new camera, TV, laptop, etc. and it is our gift to each other. It is much more practical and it saves me from having to give him ideas. Although, this year, I could use some presents.
We are doing like Mel this year and we are getting a new camera. It should be in today!
Justin wanted the Harry Potter collection (I can't even him wanting that but he did) and season 1 and 2 of The Community.
I got a Baby K'Tan and I think he is getting me a James Avery charm I want. I bought the K'tan myself and he bought his DVDs. We have never been this laxed about gifts but we really don't need anything or want anything this year.
I bought Jason some Under Armour shorts. He likes to wear them around the house or for working outside, etc. I haven't thought of anything else to get him yet. We don't really exchange big gifts and sometimes we don't even exchange anything. We just go out and buy what we want but I really wanted to have at least one gift for him this year. Even if it's something small.
I always like iTunes gc's or a gc to a clothing store. I want a steam mop, how exciting is that? I've been thinking about getting a larger crock pot... Wow. My list is boring.
Steam mops are fun!!! DH and I decided to stop doing Christmas exchanges when my lists kept consisting of vacuum cleaners, a mixer, a processor, silverware, plates, etc.
You know what's funny? The steam mop is just as much on Jason's list as it is mine. That's fine by me if that means he will like using it! I think my husband secretly enjoys vacuuming. It's a gadget and he was even the one who picked which one we should get. He researches almost every purchase if it's a gadget or electronics.
I really like the idea of exchanging PJ's. We might have to discuss that.
We have a Shark Steam mop and it's awesome! It got grim off our doggie door, that I thought was permanent! It's amazing and I love that it doesn't use chemicals. Highly recommend a steam mop!
Ya know, I used to love my shark a lot. Then I got the Eureka Enviro Steamer. This sucker totally beats out the shark b/c no pumping and the water gets hotter and stays hotter for the steam.
Jackie- that is info I did not need. That mop is cheaper too! Do the pads stay on? I remember reading reviews of the first shark mop, and people complained of the pads not staying put. That's I went with the pocket mop, since those clothes wrap around.
Yes! There are two big clamps on the top. The pads wrap around and clamp on the top. In fact you can use dish towels as extra 'mop heads'!
Oh good, I was really hoping to get a recommendation on a brand. I had a Bissel rebate but the reviews made me reconsider.
Since you brought up the Shark...I have the vacuum and LOVE it. Its so light weight and has a really strong suction.
Jenn- I bought that vacuum from your recommendation. We love it too! I'm still shocked at how much it picks up!
I really like my Skark Pocket steam mop too. It really does a great job.
