    Default **updated** Stupid AF question

    **update**

Well, the U/S tech did a LONG look today which had me very nervous. Turns out that my stupid chronic cyst on my left ovary is bigger than normal. In previous monitoring cycles it's been 2-3cm in size. Today it was almost 5cm (4.9cm to be exact). She said that's probably why I'm in so much pain right now. So.... waiting on my CD3 bloodwork to come in and the nurse to call me to say whether we can go ahead this cycle with meds/IUI or not. She said only if my E3 (estrogen) was really high would we stop, which could mean that my cyst is producing estrogen which would be bad. So...now I wait. At least I know why I'm in so much pain!!

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I have had some unusually extreme pains/cramps since last night. They are similar to my usual first day AF cramps (sharp stabbing pains) but probably twice as bad as usual. They started last night around 10 PM and haven't subsided. Last night I took two ibuprophen (which I only use in dire straights as I know it can affect O and fertility) and that barely took the edge off so I got an hour or two of sleep. Today I still cannot stand up straight at all because of the sharp pains in my abdomen. Bending/sitting is also very painful but as long as I don't move too much I can get my work done as I'm in the office. Walking from the bus stop to my office took me 15 min today when it usually takes me only 5 as I had to keep stopping or slowing down due to the pain. I would feel really stupid going to the ER for this but what if it's something else not AF related? No doctors offices would be open right now so ER would really be the only option and I really don't think it's an emergency. At the same time I've never had sharp stabby pains like this that have been this severe and lasted this long before. It's all the way from my diaphragm to my uterus area. No fever which is good so I don't think it's an infection. But still - I wish it would just stop! I didn't bring lunch today and therefore have to buy something out which means walking at least to the nearest coffee shop which I'm dreading doing. Grrr...stupid AF.... Should I worry or just wait it out?

Ug, still in pain. No fever and bleeding is the usual amount (which for me is very heavy in the first few days). I feel like a hunchback as I can't stand up straight. No point in a doc now as I see the clinic in the morning at 7:30 AM. I will take some Tylenol 3 before bed and hopefully sleep.

Glad it wasn't something serious, but sorry you had to go through so much pain! KUP on what the bloodwork says.

Grr... they didn't call me! Well, I guess no news is good news then? They said same dose of meds for the next 5 days then come back so if they didn't call me to stop or not start them I guess I'm ok then?

I admit I'm a little nervous though, after what happened the second time I was on Clomid. It caused my cyst to grow that time so I'm worried that my second round on these meds will cause it to get worse too. Oh well, gotta start somewhere and see what happens!!
