UGH, this is the worst time of year since by now I'm COMPLETELY in lazy mode!!! I have 28 kids this year, could possibly have 30! About 5 of them have special needs, not severe, but enough that it will be challenging for me. UGH!!! I know I have one behavior problem, but I'm just hoping he outgrew it in the summer. I had that a couple of years ago... when he started in my class, he was actually pretty well behaved with me.
Well sorry for the vent. Got to get my lazy butt back in work mode...so depressing. LOL!

Yes. NJ mostly mainstreams all of their special needs children into a "regular" classroom. They are pulled out for whatever subject is needed. More serious cases get pulled out all morning for all major subjects. The group I get, will only get pulled out "as needed." It could be just for Reading or Math, sometimes both but it's not all morning. I wouldn't be frustrated IF my classroom size wasn't so big OR if I had some kind of help. 28-30 kids all by myself is a lot, especially, when so many need extra help.
