So I have been having pg cramps for about a week, but I also had them about a week before AF last cycle, too. I haven't thought much about it as my uterus is still recovering from my last loss. Then yesterday AF wasn't there so I took a HPT at 9 a.m. It was first morning urine but I didn't think I was pg, so I left the test on the counter. At 11 (2 hours later) I was cleaning the bathroom and threw out the HPT, but it had a very light positive. What the hell? Surely this is a false positive b/c I left it for two hours.
I still have a blood work order at the hospital so I went for a BETA count. It was less than 2. I am definitely not pg! Then, this morning at about 11, I took another HPT as I am still having some cramping and other pg symptoms (large nipples, clear skin). It was another light BFP and not with first morning urine either.
After doing some research, I saw that chemical pg's can give positive HPT while negative blood b/c HCG leaves the blood quicker than urine. Is this true?
Here I am, looking at two BFP's but all-the-while not pg. What kind of sick joke is this?! I think I'm having another chemical pg. I'm going to see the RE this week and getting another BETA done tomorrow... if AF doesn't show up.
Why the hell can't I just have a normal pg? Normal conception? Normal fertility? I'm pissed.
