Ugh, so I just had to pay a $600.00 Electric bill!!! BLAH!!!! July and August were rediculously hot for us, and we had a streak where, with the heat index it was 120 for a while. The humidity was awful, so it simply wasn't an option not to have the AC on full blast 24 hours a day for a few weeks. They even had to have the Redcross set up cooling stations where people could go to sleep and cool down if they did not have AC.....Anyway well it was time to pay the piper and it HURT!!! Just sucks as far as timing goes with the begining of school next week for the kiddos, and all the fees we have to pay for that, plus school supplies, new clothes, backpacks, lunch stuff etc.......Sometimes MN really sucks!! We have high AC bills in the Summer and $300-$600 a month heat bills in the winter depending on your house size. Can't win around here I guess lol.
I hear you on the heat. We've been over 100 degrees for the past 40 some odd days and not an inch of rain since February. IT'S HOT!! Fortunately we built our house recently so we have all the tech-shield stuff to keep our bills down. I can't imagine a $600 bill!
