Default Bleeding after HSG/Lap and AF

Two part question (may be TMI)

How long should I expect to bleed after the HSG/Lap? When should I be concerned that it's still ongoing (it's a constant dribble for the last two days or so, bright red, no clots)?

Also, since AF is due this week, what if I get AF before the other bleeding stops? How will I know which CD I am on!?!

Thanks Liz. Hugs are always welcome!

I just called the clinic and spoke to the nurse. She said 7-10 days is normal. And because AF is due soon I could be getting early. So....no answer really on how to tell which cycle day I will be on! Grrr..

And my followup appointment - earliest was August 2 because my RE is on vacation for most of July! Double grrrr!!

With the HSG I really didn't bleed much, just a little spotting for a day and a half. Now with the hysteroscopy I did actually spot a little heavier and it lasted like 4 or 5 days.

I bled for several days after both my lap and hysteroscopy. Hopefully it will slow down before AF so you have a clear CD 1.

Well. I think it's slowing down a bit today so that's good. I haven't had any cramping which is why I don't think it's AF yet. Also, I hope that AF is lighter/shorter because of the surgery but we shall see.
