DH left last night to drive to visit his parents on the east coast. He also took the dog with him. He has an extra week of vacation this year, so he's taking two weeks at his parents and I'm flying out at the end of next week for the second week.
We've never been apart this long!! I have NO idea what I'm going to do with myself the next 8 days!! I know I want to get a bunch of organizing/cleaning done since DH and the dog won't be in the way to mess it up again. He took the xbox so not a lot I can do gaming wise....
Oh yeah, he drove down so he took the car (we only have one) so I don't have a car to really go anywhere or do anything!
And that also means that DH is not there for your obsession with POAS....I know DH would love not to be around that with me
No car, no x-box...I see lots of internet time on your hands

He took the car??? Ack! I'd be lost without my car, LOL. Is there anything near you that you can walk to?
Well, at least that's one less week you have to deal with his parents.
I'm actually quite lonely! The lack of car I can deal with as long as we don't get a cold snap of -40C outside since I have to take the bus to work all next week! Where we live the bus is a 3 min walk from my door and it goes to the mall, grocery store, etc if I need anything. We did a big shopping trip before he left so I shouldn't need anything. I am running low on laundry detergent though...and my milk expired so I do have to run out for those today.
DH is at his nephew's....what's that thing called....with the church and....Baptism!! I couldn't remember what it's called! He's doing that today. I feel bad, everyone is asking him where I am AND he forgot his wedding right at home! He always takes it off when he washes his hands and when he's at home, so he accidentally left it on the bathroom counter. People are going to gossip in his little town of 500!
LOL @ him forgetting his ring. I bet there will be some gossip in that town.
