I guess I'm mostly upset because if I'm going to an RE that means it's a real problem, and maybe it won't ever happen because it's such a problem. Still stressing today. Hope they let me know soon, then at least I know when I"m going in. Does anyone know how successful it all is, as far as women that have to see an RE that get pregnant? I mean they usually say that 80 percent get pregnant in a year, and 89 in two years... so does that mean i'm doomed if it didn't happen??
You are not doomed. And until you know what the issue is then you can't really say what the percentage of women getting successful pregnancies. And going to an RE does not mean it is a huge problem. Just your doctor realizes that a specialist knows more about fertility then regular doctors or OBs.
Margaret said it perfectly! So many couples have success with RE's no matter what the fertility issue is. In my opinion it's better to see a specialist in the field rather than continue with a doctor who doesn't have the knowledge etc to help. Hang in there!
Thank you ladies Sorry, I'm just freaking out alot. This is why I waited this long to move things along with the doctors... I knew I'd do this lol I just want to know it CAN happen, and I will feel better.
