Aww, thank you, thank you, thank you ladies!!!![]()
It's still a little unbelievable for me and I feel incredibly humbled.Still a little anxious to get through the next few months, but I'm trying just to take it one day at a time and am grateful for each day with this baby.
I am also soooo relieved to know that I actually AM capable of becoming pregnant on my own, something I wasn't sure was possible after our dx of unexplained...
Anyway, I'll pop in every now and then but thanks SO much for your encouragement and your support! You ladies are the best!!!![]()

Congrats, Liss!! Such wonderful news...God is good!
I've said it before and I will say it again..... You ladies really are the BEST!Thank you so much!!!
We were unexplained, so I was willing to try any and everything in hopes of finding the "magic formula" lol.
Truthfully, I don't know what did the trick (well... God, of course..) but from a physical standpoint, I'm not for positive. I do know that for about a year and a half leading up to our BFP, we drastically changed our diet. Yes, WE.. lol.. had to convince my husband to get on board, too. We were seeing a really great acupuncturist/nutritionist who did muscle testing and her sweet attitude and optimism and passion for learning/teaching helped us see the importance of both of us becoming as healthy as possible. She kept stressing how important it was to take care of our bodies because pregnancy wasn't just the end of our journey, it was the beginning. She reminded us that we needed to be healthy enough to take care of a baby, too. That perspective really helped me!
She did muscle testing and put us on Standard Process whole foods supplements, in addition to cleaning up the processed foods from our diet. We also incorporated a lot of dark, leafy greens, as she said minerals were so important, especially for men.
I don't know if you have anyone, maybe a chiropractor or naturopath, in your area who does muscle testing with Standard Process supplements, but I highly recommend seeking one if at all possible.I have been on SP products since a baby, and they have really helped me a lot over the years.
The acupuncturist we saw also did a test called the HRV (Heart Rate Variability - this wasn't our doctor but this site had some good info on it http://energyhealingsystems.com/tech...enic-switching). She was able to see that we were both "blocked" and found the nutrition we needed in order to become unblocked. Once that happened, we both started losing weight pretty easily. A supplement called Chezyn she said was especially crucial for male fertility, as it contained a lot of zinc and was an integral part of building up healthy sperm. I took some too, to help my immune system, but my DH had a double dose lol.
Everything we did was related... by focusing on becoming physically healthy, we had the energy to focus on growing more emotionally and spiritually healthy - I know that you are more than aware of how burnt out you can get after 5 years of TTC...
So that's what we did... Changed our diet/lifestyle... took Standard Process nutrition... focused on becoming more spiritually and emotionally healthy... and focused on growing in our relationship with each other.
Praying you will be blessed on your journey!Feel free to PM me for more/specific info and I'd be happy to help you however I can.
