How long have you been TTC when...

You can predict your positive opk with one test?

Saves money on opk's this month, at least. Bit proud of myself for fertility awareness. Those tests are getting expensive anyway. Now if only that helped me get pg!

those damn opk never work with me. i know i ovulate as it's been confirmed through the docs, but hell - i can never test at the right time or something.

i'm using opk (or will try using them) for a while. i've heard that d&c's can really mess up your cycles.

Kadibug, I have had months where I don't get a positive opk and usually during that time I was testing 2x/day. I know I ovulated because I chart, and one of those months I actually had a chemical pregnancy. The times I have gotten positives recently, when I did test 2x/day, I never had more than one positive. In other words, if I hadn't been testing 2x/day, I would have probably missed it. This time, I just took the one and only test, and didn't test after that.

My RE said people don't always get a positive and it was nothing to worry about. Of course it still bothers me, so I understand your frustration. If you haven't tested 2x/day, maybe try that for a cycle or two and see if you can catch it.
