Well I have an HSG scheduled for tomorrow morning at 8am. Kinda nervous. I have horribly painful periods, so I am worried this will hurt pretty darn bad...but so excited for answers!

During was not bad, a little pinch and they had to try two different catheters. It was a few hours later. I was told to take Advil before and for the rest of the day but I am allergic and tylenol did not have the same effect (I even took tylenol menstrual). I did get pregnant right after my first hsg so good luck!
Thanks for the input! It is comforting to know you didn't feel too much pain during the procedure. That is awesome that you got pregnant right after the HSG, definitely gives me some hope :)
I have never had one, so I have no advice for you. But I wish you the best of luck and hope that you finally get some answers!! KUP!
It was cool to watch the second one. The first one was done while I was having endo removed. I had one period and then was pregnant, I have been told by many doctors that the first 3 months after an hsg are the most likely for you to get pregnant.Quote:

Thanks ladies! Hsg went well, everything looked good! :D I did have severe cramping as soon as the dr. inserted the balloon and inflated it with the 1 cc, but I just breathed my way through it and watched the screen, which was quite fascinating!
So glad it went well for you! I loved watching mine on the screen too. It's oddly cool to get to see all our insides :)
When do you get results back? Did you see flow through both sides? KUP :)
