    Default Hysteroscopy tomorrow

My hysteroscopy is scheduled for 1:30 tomorrow. Anyone ever had one and have some insight? I'm trying my best not to google. There's no incision so I'm not too worried. I just didn't have a good time in recovery after my lap and hoping that goes better tomorrow.

    I have one on Friday!!

I have had it done before. It's "okay." Definitely hurts afterwards!! I had some bad cramping for a little while and was definitely sore the next day! They use anesthesia so it actually didn't hurt until the biopsy part, that did hurt. It's a very uncomfortable exam, and I wasn't too thrilled about having again. Good luck!

Thanks for the support girls. I'll KUP tomorrow when I get home.

Marisol- I'm so sorry you have to go through this again. My doctor is putting me under general anesthesia so I'm not worried about any pain. Maybe you can ask your doctor about that option?

Hmm, I wonder if it's a different procedure or if there are different forms of it. My doctor does it right in her office in a special room. It's not a long procedure at all, so maybe mine is different. However, it's definitely a hysteroscopy with biopsy for sure. I clearly remember the name.

I think you can do it without any anesthesia, with an epidural or local anesthesia, or general anesthesia. Some doctors do it in their office and others in the hospital. I guess it's just doctor preference.

I wish I would've had anesthesia for the endometrial biopsy! YOUCH! I think the biopsy is the worst part of the whole thing.

    *HUGS* Good luck!
