Is there anyone else who feels the way I do? When I 1st heard about IUI I got beyond excited, I sat in the chair and thought wow, I can be a Mommy! Now as the days seem to fly by and the IUI date its rapidly approaching I'm kinda FREAKING out about it and I"m almost 2nd quessing myself! I know, you think I'm crazy lol, I am just so scared right now!
DH is like a cheerleader for my, telling my this is what I have to do to get what I want.
I don't have any experience with IUI, but wish you the very best! I bet it is nerve-wracking. Just take it one day at a time.
IUI is wonderful - it helped me get pregnant when I thought it was becoming impossible. Plus, I loved it because I was starting to get tired of BDing just to get pregnant. Here, we didn't have to. And I was able to know exactly how many good sperm were swimming around (and how many eggs I was releasing). And it worked on my first IUI...
With that said, as many women will tell you, it's not a miracle worker. It has the same percent chance of success as women without fertility issues have BDing every month (~20-25%). One would think putting the sperm right next to the egg would increase one's chances, but alas...
Now with that being said, don't second guess yourself. You will be an awesome mom! And I hope people don't get offended, but I think you'll be an even better mom because you truly appreciate the miracle that comes so easy to some. GOOD LUCK, LOTS OF BABY DUST, and YOU GOT THIS!!!!!!!!!!

I agree with Meg, we also have the same story but it took us 2 IUI's before we got our BFP. Don't be nervous, just go for it!! GL and baby dust!!
Meg Thanks for sharing your story! I'm hoping it works for me the 1st time! If you don't mind me asking, what did you do after the procedure? DH has me on bed rest, RE said I can go about my normal activities, I wanna play it safe, but not put my self in a bubble!
Aggie- Thanks! Also, if you don't mind sharing how did you ago about life after the procedure?
Tasha sound great!
Thanks girls for all the support
i've had two IUI's with no luck, but i've known people on forums who get lucky the first time. it's very exciting but remember what someone else said about it not being a miracle worker. when my first IUI failed, i was soooooooooo depressed and crushed. i don't want this to happen to you.
stay positive but realistic.
i wish you a million, trillion pounds of luck!
