Yay! So exciting! I'm almost kind of jealous, it looks like fun.
Not that I really know what its all for..I'm just guessing.
Haha, I don't know either Liz. My class to learn to use everything isn't until next week. But I'm still excited!!
LOL....Very very exciting!!!!!
Lets hope you get a nice surprise very soon too!!!
Both Amandas would be fabulous!!!!
I should take a pic of my box when it comes on Weds... it might give you all a heart attack LOL.
Amanda: I forget... are you going to do an IVF cycle or just injectibles (with or without IUI)? Follistim pen and cartridge are pretty easy to use, you'll like it. I hate needles and I don't mind the Follistim pen at all. I like the gonal-f pen better, but considering the alternative is a syringe... I'll take the pen!! Is that Ovidrel? Are they going to have you do it Sub-Q or Intramuscular? My old doc had me do intramuscular, but the IVF folks do it sub-Q which is so much easier (and less painful).
If you have any questions, let me know... I've used all of those except for the Endometrin... but I've used Crinone and other progesterone suppositories.
Thanks Amanda. We are doing IUI with injectibles this cycle and, depending on the results, might move onto IVF after that. I'm interested to see what my lining is like after 6 months of Clomid and 2 D&C's.
I'm not shy of needles so I feel pretty good about everything. The Follitism pen looks pretty harmless and I'm not sure yet about how they want me to administer the Ovidrel. I go next week to meet with the nurse to learn about everything.
I'm sure I'll PM you with a ton of questions once I get my calendar with all my directions. Glad to know there is someone here who has been through it all. Are y'all doing another IVF cycle now?
Wow look at all those goodies!!! :goodluck:
Yuppers, we are planning on 1 more IVF cycle, then we are calling it quits. I just can't keep putting myself through it. Don't worry about your lining... the injectibles will help that along just nicely. I had my best lining on the Follistim! I was so excited. Isn't it crazy the things you get excited over when doing IF treatments? LOL.
You are so lucky you don't mind needles! I sooo wish I was like that. I'm getting better than I was, but I still wish they could do IVF without all the shots!! Maybe someday
Definitely PM me if you have any questions... or feel free to stop by the IVF board. The ladies on there are GREAT and can answer questions about injectible/IUI cycles (most of us on there have been through it).
