Default My poor cat passed away. OT

Yesterday at about 730 am I got a phonecall at work from m.
He said that my cat ebony had hauled herself into the garden, staggered, vomited and collapsed.
He rushed her to the emergency vets after confirming that I was in agreement.
He popped into work with a list of everything that she needed with prices and he asked if we could afford it. She was insured so I told him to go back to the vets and give them the go-ahead.

When I finished work I had a voicemail to call immediately but as my phone was playing up I just went to them. They are just down the road from work.

Sadly they ushered me into a room and said she had just passed away.
    She had got luekimia ....

Now here is my warning.... This cancer comes to cats through a bite or scratch from an infected cat... But there is a vaccine!!!
I don't know if ebony had this before I gave her a home or whether my missing her yearly jabs caused this.
Please ladies.. If you have cats... Don't miss yearly jabs!!!!

    I miss her so much!!!
    She was feisty and beautiful!!!

I am so so sorry. Losing a beloved pet is very much losing a piece of your family...

    Totally!!
I am just grateful she found enough strength to get home to us so we knew what was happening.
She must have loved us a lot to get home.
It's not an easy garden to get into even for a fit cat.

Sorry about your baby Liz. Such a pretty girl, she looks like a tiny version of one of my kitties.

She was tiny... But had a huge personality!!!
She was a fish wife I swear!!! Always swearing and trying to take a swipe at us when she didn't get what she wanted!! Lol
She used to beat rocco the jack Russell up too lol
