We get geckos as well, not so many with the cats though, or else not inside. We had a couple of frogs here when we first moved in, they are gone now for various reasons.

We're all pretty close in cycles aren't we? So let's hope we can all do this together.
Mind you my LP seems a bit screwy at the moment. May pop up and see my doc if this cycle is the same.

I have to say the frogs do look really cute... But yeah... Wouldn't want them jumping on me... A bit freaky!
Was bad enough being in bed in Sydney and hearing the click click click of cockroaches coming out!
Frogs as well would have had me screaming like a girl I think.

I sense I may need some calming tea this week. It is back to school here in Australia and my baby starts prep this week.

My fingers are crossed that you guys don't get this cyclone as bad as they are predicting. My house does not flood (Just my back yard as our block slopes.) But our city is a touch famous for it's flooding. As long as we do not have a repeat of 2011 all will be good.

It's a baby cyclone anyway, I'm not worried and it seems to be going south now, we always hope for not having a repeat of 2011 here as well. I have never been so scared in my whole life as I was then, even during Larry which I experienced on the edge, not right in the strike area, but was still like a category 3 at a minimum where I was. 2011 was a bad year

2011 WAS Hell, I will never forget the smell of rotten rancid mud. The many families up at the evacuation center and the poor women and babies getting sick because the only place they felt safe to breast feed was in the toilets and bottle feeding was discouraged due to the sicknesses and lack of cleaning facilities.
Last Australia day we thought it was happening all over again, but the waters eased. (for some rural areas, it did happen again )

For me it is the sound of the wind. So scary. We live closeish to a river as well. This cyclone looks to be going south still, but apprantly there is another system right behind it which is the one we should worry about. I don't like that, when we moved here people all bought up cyclone Larry, I laughed and said oh well thats happened, nowhere is unlucky enough to get two in ashlrt space of time, yeah I was wrong.

It's quite a bit south, in fact we had blue skies all day today and a gorgeous hot day. My poor strawberry runners my mum gaave me didn't fair well with all the rain but my npumpkin and zuchinni seedlings thrived.
What does everyone have planned for the weekend? DS has a friends birthday party and when hubby finishes work we are driving up to my hometown for chinese new year as DS loves all the colour, the lion dances and fkreworks. We will stay at my Mum's and then do some shopping Sunday before coming home, I need a new lunch box for ds and there isn't much choice where we live, then it's holding out to see kf ds's unprompted statement about me havi g a princess baby in my belly is true. He has even named it Alice
