New year coffee morning.

Happy new year ladies.

How is everyone?
Hope Christmas and new was great.
Please pull up a chair round the table.
Coffee is brewing and there is plenty of hot water for those keeping away from caffeine and wanting herbal tea.
Lots of cakes and all sorts.
Now... Fill us all in please.
Rachael... Congrats on the beautiful Rowan.
Susan and Mari ...How are you feeling?
And everyone else... How are you all?

We had a great Christmas and new year.
Ed was spoilt rotten and now spends his time in his jumperoo feeling very proud of himself bouncing.
He's 5 months 1 week and he's rolling, sitting up on solids, trying his damnedest to crawl and making mama noises when he wants me.
Hoping number 2 will be baking soon.

Poking my head in here trying it out, though it's not a place I ever expected to be. Christmas was good, a bit of a hard day though, my Nanna died Christmasday the year before. Ds was spoilt rotten and has so many new toys he has barely looked at them. Holding out to see if I am pregnant this month before we try our final iui. That will likely be the end of the line treatment wise for us, right now we just can't afford ivf it seems as hubbys work situatiin has changed a bit.

No iui at all this month, the clinic was closed over Christmas/new year. If I am not pregnant this month from trying on our own we will do our third and final iui. The plan from the clinic was only ever to do three iuis then move on. Crossing fi gers we may get afresh cycle if we have to do another iui

Not sure, nio different really, maybe some sore boobs but not sure. With DS I had few symptoms as well. If I were pregnant with a sticky baby it would be due a few days before his birthday. Ds has also said I have a princess pink baby coming.

Hello. I am new here. I am Janel. We have been trying to have a baby since Feb 2012. I have had two miscarriages in that time. Now time is running out due to my age. We wonder if we'll ever have another baby. We have children already, so it's not like we're completely suffering, but still it's a hard place to be.

Hi sticking my head in...

We had a great relaxing Christmas at the beach. Just what we needed. Thomas starts Prep (school) This month and his anxiety over it is doing all our heads in.
As for TTC our plans are not overly trying not preventing, still monitoring cycles with temping to make sure no majour cysts ect are forming. (I usually can feel them anyway due to my whacked up nervous system.)

We are lff on a last minute weekend away, hubby got tomorrow off unexpectedly so we are taking DS to a dknlsaur exhibit at a museum a few hours away and staying at my family's beach house for the night. We may hit up tne aquarium as well. Now to pack pads just in case or not, if I don't af will turn up fpr sure, if j do maybe she will stay away

Well considering my temp plummeted this morning I doubt there is a princess baby in my belly. Ds will be so sad, he was so convinced there was a princess baby.

When is af due.
I have to say I stopped temping because even the best chart could turn into af. The only thing I found charting useful for was oing.
Temping and reading a pregnancy was silly for me because I would test early and not wait for 16 highs in a row lol
If that makes sense.
What I am trying to say is.. You never know!!
I hope you have had an implantation dip or something messed with your temps during the night.

Just popping my head in. We have given up trying for #2. I am 45 this year and Robbie has been diagnosed with high-functioning Autism. We were going to try IUI just over a year ago but I became horribly allergic to the meds, I was in anaphylaxis and had no idea. We are still considering adoption but I am starting to think we are not going to try for an at-risk newborn (baby could go back to birth parents). I am feeling my age and well I am getting treatment I have pretty severe mental health issues going on. It will all work out in the end.

Thomas has HF ASD too. Never a dull moment and certainly can make TTC more challenging.

I dressed Thomas in his uniform yesterday and took photo's (I need them for the pharmacy as DS takes meds during the day and we have them put in special packs.)
He is too grown up. I know he is ready, but fingers crossed the school is ready for him.

I am so not sure what my body is doing. It is possibly going to turn annovlatory or the weather changes might have a play. (This morning I woke up with freezing feet and no sheets or blanket on them.)

No lrincess baby just as I thought. Now to break the news to DS, he ks still talking about his princess baby in my belly. We went away for the weekend, a town three ish hours away had a dinosaur exhibit at the museum, we glt there yesterday and they had dinosaur noises playing and ds decided he was nlw scared of them. Thankfully he changed his mind. We then went tk my family's beach house for the night then back into town to a lego art exhibition and the aquarium. I am exhausted, but ds loved it and says the dinosaurs were the best part

I am sorry Wendy.
That sucks. Hugs.
Hope the next iui takes or the consultant can offer something else.
Glad you had a good day yesterday.
Sounds like fun.

I think I've picked up a stomach bug.
Ed threw up yesterday morning and was off his food.
He seems okay now but I feel so sick with those tiny cramps that goes with sickness and the runs!!
We are going into a little town to buy my bracelet later.. But Ed is asleep on my lap and needs to be fed when we wakes so won't be going yet.
Hoping I don't have to rush to be sick or go to the bathroom any time soon

In none ttc news we bought a new bedroom suite a few weeks back andit arrived in store today and will be delivered Wednesday. Hubby has the next twok days off and because we need to rearrange the bedroom he will likely go into cleaning mode so fingers crossed the whole house gets ckeaned

Sounds good!!
Bet it's gorgeous too.

I am so angry today.
My next door neighbour is sooo noisy and inconsiderate.
I have complained 3 times to her face.. Two of those were late night or early morning and I have knocked.
3 others I have phoned her landlords and complained as she obviously doesn't listen.
Her screaming jungle noises and bed banging on the wall is driving me mad!!!
Anyway her dad just confronted my fil!!!
Saying I had complained 300 times!! Lol
Even if that was possible.
Seriously...are we not adults rather than 'I am telling my daddy'
Stupid!!
I am fuming because firstly.. She has deliberately been making more noise when she's home because I complained and secondly M has days we have to suck it up now as it's not fair on his dad and people may talk about him!!
So my baby will get woken up and I will loose sleep!!
Not happy!!!

How awful, bad neighbours are the worst. Hopefully others will complain as well and she will move.

Bedroom suiye arrived, there is a crack on the footboard so a new ome had to ne ordered and won't be here until mid feb. I am also being forced to take leave in geb which sucks because the only week plssible will be in the tww so it means spending a week at home obsessing which I don'twant.

Others have complained but over different things.. Noise is only an issue with us as it's a semi detached house.
Other neighbours have problems with parking and rubbish bins.

That sucks!!
Can you still use the bed without the footboard?
Even worse about compulsory time off!!
Can you try and fill it with fun things to do?
Play dates.. Lunches... Housework?

Hopefully thelandlord starts listening soon.

Ds will probably go to daycare while I am off, he will have just transitioned to his new room the week before so I am concerned about the dksruption a week off then would cause, plus I still have to pay and we only get a certain amount of days per year off including sick, holidays and public holidays before it affects any government subsidikes we get so I have to watch the days. I also have few Mummy friends locally one works part time, the other is still on mat leave but will have only come back from mlnths over seas the week before so tends to be a bit busy catching up after thjose trips. I will li,ely watch movies and trashy tv. I almost think I should just say I want next week when I doing my iui and in and out kf work all week anyway

Oh Liz sucky neighbours are challenging at best. We have our fair share of loud obnxious ones here on both sides of our fence.

Darn Wendy about being forced to take leave, But use it to your advantage where you can.

As for the bed. That is more than frustrating. Hopefully it will arrive quickly. (Stay away cyclones and crappy weather!!!)

Landlord is listening. She's a friend of the family. Takes it seriously... It's just the girl next door is playing the victim.
Pretty sure if daddy knew what she had been getting up to he would be apologising. Lol

Never could work out the holiday systems over there.
A friend had shocking holiday entitlement... Had to use it for bank holidays too.
Sucks xxx

I get all the public holidays anyway, it's just day care as we get a small subsidy from the government ( guess it's the only upside to hubby's drop in hours) and I think you get 45 days per year off before it affects that, which includes public holidays I believe. Plus even if you give two weeks notice you still have to pay half fees which sucks.

I hate people like that who think they are the victim in everything. I hope something is done soon so you and Ed can get your rest

Sounds really complicated. We have around 4 weeks holiday here. Depending on company and length of service. Plus bank holidays.
Some companies you have to use your holiday up over Christmas some you get that as extra.
Then you have sick days on top.
Where I work sick days are complicated and you can only have a percentage per month or something.
I don't get it.

Hmmm....
She's come home this evening and was stamping on the spot next door.. Shaking the table.. Coffee split.
Then she and her friends put their wii on and played a dance game..made loads of noise I am guessing to make a point.. But all is reasonably quiet now... Touch wood... It's close to 9pm and I am ready for bed... Please fingers crossed for no jingle noises and slamming beds tonight.

Fingers crossed. Sounds like she is just being a pain about it now.

I get 5 weeks holiday a year, then I think it's 10 days sick leave, plus public holidays. I also have my long service leave available to me which is another 9 weeks at the moment I think. Currently my rec leave balance is sitting at 10 weeks, hence the forced time off.

I almost moved to England after uni, I was saving up for living expenses when I got a scholarship for more study. I do want to visit one day, maybe when I am old. I still nave some family there, my grandparents siblings and their families so no one overly close sadly.

It's nice up where I live, though we just had the wet season start and my little town is known for getting blown away in cyclones. Down south is sweltering and big bushfkres are happening. Hubbys family lost their old homstead a few years back when the fires went through last time.

You have me to visit before you're old and grey!!!!!

Me and my then bf drove from Sydney to Melbourne and went through towns that seemed to be only men and ithersxthatxwhete deserted.. I loved it!!!
The country is so open it's dauntingly wonderful!!

My godmother auntie Jenny is in neutral bay and grtcaffected by those awful fires!
I am so sorry for your hubby loosing his house.
That's awful.
Must have been a tough time.

Wow you've seen more of Australia than me Blum 3 I have never been to Sydney or Melbourne. Hubby hadn't seen the house in a long time, he left Victoria and never looked back as he has a very conflicted relationship with his family who live down there.

LOL Liz, yes there is some country towns where there are more men then women. I have only driven between Brisbane and Sydney, But did it with my In laws so we stayed with family along the way. I live in a place known for the big floods of 2011. Fingers crossed the cyclone season up from up Wendy's way is kind to us this year (we get the rain depressions they turn into as they come down the coast.)

I used to live in Mount Isa, more men than women out there but it was very much quantity vs quality, there may have been lots of them but there wasn't much quality, i took my own when I moved out there. We were supposed to upgrade to a moderate chance of cyclone this week but I think that passed, and they were predicting it to head towards the Solomon Islands. Not sure I can do another big cyclone, Yasi was just too close for comfort, and we were affected by Larry as well, though out on the edge a bit more, but it was still like a cat 3 where I was and very scary.

I remember busting for a wee and we stopped in this town with a public loo.
I went in there while ash.. My ex popped into the small supermarket..
I open the lid to the loo and flies buzzed out... I left the loo and went to the supermarket... Most of the shelves were empty... So we decided to go to the pub.. Get lunch there and have a wee.
We walked in.. Every man stopped talking and just stared at us.. Really freaked us out... Do we left and I kept my legs crossed.
Lol
We were trying to find a campsite called cave rocks or something and we got lost and end up in a native coast village... Was amazing.. A huge wide road leading in and just a buggy in the middle of the road.
It was scary.
Finally found a camp site on the coast. At Scottish rocks and it was gorgeous!!
I would love to visit again.
Got really badly sunburnt feet though lol

My Great Aunty had them all her house when I was younger... They are not so cute and adorable when they jump on you in the middle of the night.

We don't seem to get too many here thank fully (I think it is because we have a cat and chooks.) we have cute little gecko's instead.

We get geckos as well, not so many with the cats though, or else not inside. We had a couple of frogs here when we first moved in, they are gone now for various reasons.
