DH and I had a talk about our health and weight and so we bought a treadmill (got it yesterday) and have decided to loose weight instead. Being that I have BP issues it might be way better anyway if I lost these 30 lbs I've gained since my mom passed. Then in about 2 or 3 months we will start again. We will not prevent but I won't be tracking O at all. I will still be here to hang out with you girls of course!!!!
Awww my re told be that i needed to lose weight in order to have better fertility as well ! I feel really good and confident too ! Gl on the weightloss it benefits you in more ways than one

Thanks ladies. Did my first workout tonight. Only 40 minutes but I was impressed on my ability to jog. I did half and half. I didn't do too much because I haven't exercised in years...LOL!! Now onto the eating healthier... that's my downfall!!
I highly recommend the Couch to 5K program, which you can find through a Google search, and Sparkpeople.com is great, and it's free! You can get food plans with a grocery list to print out, and calorie-counting is a breeze. I used those two things, plus Jillian Michael's 30-day Shred (which I did 3x a week, not every day), and have lost 25 lbs. so far (am now in a healthy weight range). I hope to lose about 10 more lbs to get to my ideal goal weight.
Good for you!! It's a fantastic start! My downfall is exercise. I've promised myself I will do better. I've got weight to lose as well. We took ttc breaks over our 7+ year journey. It's good to take a break and refocus for a bit.
Taking a break can be very refreshing! Getting yourself in shape for a healthy pregnancy is a win-win situation!
