We had to take our daughter to the clinic with us the day of the retrieval, so after the transfer the RE came out to tell my husband how everything went and that she retrieved 13 eggs.....
Yesterday we are on the line waiting to order coffee, there was a lot of people. A whole group of women behind me and 2 men in front of me. THe problem is no one is really talking so its pretty quiet and then she spoke....LMAO!!
"Mommy are you a chicken?" My response with a chuckle,, "huh?" "Yeah, are you a chicken?" "No Emiiy why are you asking me that?" "Well the doctor told daddy that you had 13 eggs, so are you a chicken?"
OMG, I was so embarrassed!!!!! I could only imagine what was going through those peoples head! Just wanted to share that my DD things I'm a chicken and I don't know how to explain to her what the dr meant LOL!!!!!

how embarrassing! Aaaa!
Hey Mary!!!! How are you doing???
Yes, my daughter has the tendency to do things like that. Once we were at a book signing and I told her I was really thirsty, and she turns around and says "Me too, But I'm not drinking wine Okay!" I was floored!!! They were offering soda, coffee and wine...why she would say that is beyond me!!!!
