    Default Tri 21

So I had a letter today saying that the results from my d and c on the twins was tri 21. Downs.
I guess it was a blessing in disguise.
You see to me downs children have a good quality of life and to have a child with downs would be a blessing. To m... It freaks him out and he wouldn't be able to deal.
So god helped us both there.

Liz - I am glad you have answers but I know it doesn't make the loss any easier. Do you mind me asking how long it took to get the results? My results are not in yet from my D&C and I was just curious. I've heard 6 wks to 6 months.

I just continue on as we are doing.
Having a tri 21 m/c doesn't mean the risk is any higher. Like the tri 16 from the last one... There is no higher risk.
Mr H actually says in the letter that it is reassuring there us no underlying cause.
These are very common causes if m/c.
Tri 21 to me is sadder as many downs pregnancies do result in loving children and I find it sad I couldn't love them in life but I am guessing they were maybe too much downs to survive.

My new consultant who we saw the other week is testing me fir other stuff but he thinks it's just my hyper fertility which we have a plan of action on.
He says that out of the 4 chemicals he thinks at least 2 would have been fine but with the hyper fertility it didn't give my uterus time to build up a snuggly lining.
Cyclogest from 2 or 3 dpo will combat that.
And for the other tests there are solutions too if they come back positive. A op for scarring uf I have it and foluc acid boost for the other things....can't remember what they were. Will let you know properly when I have that letter.
    So it's not so heavy.
Downs ... To me... Isn't a bad thing... I mean look at the tv show American horror story.
The little girl on that has downs and she's amazing.
Downs isn't the end of the world fir mother ir child. Plus they're the kindest most loving people.

My only problem with downs is m's lack of understanding and I am not sure how he would cope. I know he wouldn't want me to continue with a downs pregnancy.
    And you see.... I would!!!!!!
Maybe that's why the twins chose to go with my mum and their siblings?
