Hey gals,
Well I believe my dearest Aunt will be showing up, and from a previous post (somewhere) I mentioned that this would be the cycle that we try again with a round of Clomid (150mg) that has been sitting at the pharmacy idle for the last year. DH and I figured that it would be worth a shot to try again one more time .... before we throw in the towel and call it completely quits. I went down to the pharmacy to pick it up today and the pharmacist smiles (she's gotten to know me quite well over the years) and advises me that there is enough on my records for another cycle after this cycle upcoming if we don't succeed on itSo I filled it all and well I guess we get Aug & Sept to try.
We were accepted into the adoption agency so now we have to get fingerprinting done and our references have to get back their letters before we move onto the 3 day workshop, home visits with the social worker and another joyful visit with the shrink. Guess it could be worst.
Two weeks from today we will be driving to Hinton for our 5km/10km run -- I am doing 5km and DH is doing 10km. We have been training for it 3 days per week .... and I've lost 12 lbs from it so far![]()

This post makes me smile. I really have a good feeling about this for you, Tacie. I will be praying my little heart out for you that BOTH the clomid AND adoption work out for you. I just know you will be the best mom and you should be blessed with two babies.![]()
So glad to hear from you! I agree with Amanda!I'll be checking in on you!
Tacie, this is great! Enough for 2 cycles....accepted by the adoption agency - I hope that everything will all work out!
And WTG on the 12 lb weight loss!
Good luck on the 5k!! I just started running and have lost a few lbs myself (not as much as yours of course). KUP on everything!!!
Well, crossing my fingers for ya! I hope it all works out!
Good luck on the 5k! I suck at running even though I keep trying. I keep chickening out on a 5k but I'm sure you can do it! Congrats on the weight loss too!
What a fabulous post!
So happy things are moving for you!!!
You really are wonderful...your willpower is just awe making!!!
Good lucky with the adoption stuff coming up....so very exciting!!
And yay for an extra month!!!
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
aww! thanks girls! I'm feelin so warm and fuzzy from you all!!
You're so sweet to me - I'm actually blushing and teared up! LOL! (darn hormones)
DH is moving away here at the end of next week for school .... guess when I am estimated to O .... LOL! Yup, while he's away at school! So we're going to pray for an early O and be sure to BD before he leaves with preseed ... hopefully those swimmers will stick around and catch that eggie .... it's all in God's hands, so we'll see!
Went for a trial 5km walk/run this past weekend on some trails close to home ... DH went on the 10km trail and my dog Buddy and I did the 5km - he was sooo tired I had to pick him up to put him in the back of the SUV to go back home! Little stinker! It was fun though, tiring but fun. He will not be going with me on the trail run in Hinton as dogs are not allowed but I am sure he is going to be okay with that. We're going to take him with us and then head up to Jasper for a few days to camp and trail hike and such. I will take pictures and figure out how to post some to share.... that is as long as the police don't lock me up after finger prints are done
tee hee!

Tacie - if you want some support on the adoption front www.canadaadopts.com is a great board. I am a moderator over there. Some of us from Edmonton get together now and then.
GL on both TTC and adoption.
