This is a common complaint. Remember that muscle weighs more than fat! Sometimes people will actually see their weight increase at first. Keep up the good work!!! The muscle you're building will speed up your metabolism and you'll probably notice your clothes fitting differently by three weeks.
NO, I'm drinking the same amount. I guess I should drink more. Thanks for the advise!
Mrs. DooLittle, I have been told the same thing by many people. I guess it's early on, and I have to first get used to just exercising and getting on a good routine before I can consider any numbers, but it is still frustrating especially when you've put in the hard work and effort. :(
Actually ... You very well can be losing fat but gaining muscle.. Thats could be why you dont see any weight loss . Are you doing weights as well?
Sorry, Marisol! How frustrating! The only thing that ever worked for me to ensure weight loss was counting calories. At first I thought it was a big pain to do, but there's a way to do it that's much easier, so let me know if you're interested and I'll share. ALSO: So many things can factor in to our weight, including water retention from too much salt or sometimes just because of being close to either ovulation or AF. I agree that measuring with a tape measure in addition to weighing can give you more accuracy in regards to actual fat loss. (I'm terrible at remembering to measure myself, so need to do that starting this week since I want to lose that last 15 lbs to get to my goal weight! :))
:goodluck:
