Update here, IVF success (pg mention)

So...I've been keeping quiet and keeping things very private. As we all know here, TTC is difficult, and having to go down the IVF road is in itself is a hard decision to even make. Well, I'm definitely glad we did it and we are very fortunate things moved quickly from the minute we signed the papers. I had my ET on 1/24 and they put two good eggs in and we even have 8 on cryo (which is amazing).

Anyway, long story short, I'm 5 1/2 weeks pregnant and my HCG levels are awesome plus there are two sacs, twins! Not sure about how well one will do since one sac is smaller but we'll keep our fingers crossed both wind up with heartbeats. I don't go back for another scan till the 27th.

Note: I will not add a ticker onto my signature or join October 2012 board until I know everything is okay, since I've had prior losses and right now I'm just trying to take one day at a time. I do have some morning sickness which is a very good sign.

Here are my betas:

By the way, I had trouble posting my Reply -- a pop-up box came up and asked if I wanted to leave the page, so others might be having the same problem.

Note to everyone: If you get asked if you want to leave the page, go ahead and say Yes and it will post your reply.

Off to notify admin about it....

I am so happy for you! Thoughts and prayers being sent for healthy babies. Also I know with twins one sack is usually smaller then the other - I think it has to do with positioning.

^Yes, yes, I agree with the bolded.^ I've seen it in so many cases with twins where one sac is smaller than the other, and usually one twin will be at least slightly if not significantly smaller than the other. Smile

Congrats! Please feel free to visit the Pregnant with Twins or Multiples and the Parents with Twins or Multiples board when you feel comfortable.

I am not too sure about twins and always having a smaller sac. Although, I would not be too concerned about it. If both have good heartbeats..then you are probably good. Sorry for the lack of a comma there..my keyboard is not working properly.

We got heartbeats!! I had a scan this morning, both babies have heartbeats!!! Smile I do however have a small SCH (Subchorionic Hematoma) but she said its small and not to really worry about it unless I do start bleeding (its by Baby A). I have pics, will scan them in later on, right now I am so tired and hungry. Sleeping's been challenging and my doctor warned me it's only going to get even more challenging.

Anyway, I'm relieved, still freaked over twins, but relieved both are doing well. I go back on the 12th for (I think) my final scan at their clinic.

:pinkelephant: Happy dance! There is a book called "When You are Expecting Twins, Triplets, or Quads" might be of help for you.

So happy for you!!! Biggrin :D That's fantastic news!! My friend had a SCH with her 4th pregnancy. She did have some bleeding off and on in the first trimester but all was well. He is turning 7 this year.
