Hello! I'm new here and my husband and I have just decided to have baby #3 and I'm really excited! Well, I decided and gave him a nudge and now he is happy to be involved LOLOL It took me this long to feel like I wanted a 3rd but when it hit me it hit me like a ton of bricks! I always said I was done after 2 but I've changed my mind.
So anyway... he is concerned that our kids are already 6 and 4 and thinks this child will be raised as kind of an only child because there is a gap in their ages but I told him he's being silly. Does anyone have kids this age and are TTC?
I'm a little concerned that it will take longer this time because of my age but I'm hoping that I will be lucky like I was for the first 2 and get pregnant right away. So, good luck to all of you and wish me luck as well!

Gina! Long time no see! (Oh shoot, now I'm paranoid that I remembered your name wrong..)
Just wanted to say good luck with TTC! (And no, I don't think your kids will be spaced too far apart.. There are definite benefits and drawbacks to any spacing!)
Your kids are getting so BIG! I didn't even recognize Logan in your siggy pic.
Welcome and good luck! I hope your journey to baby #3 is quick and easy.
I think if you PM MissyJ, she can merge your old account and your new. Not exactly sure how it works, but it's worth dropping her a note and asking!

I've been good. Long story short: started/finished nursing school, work as a nurse at a local hospital, couple of m/c, and one sticky bean that resulted in a beautiful baby girl earlier this month. Life is good!
How are you/your kids?
And yep, our board got merged with several others just this weekend!
Hi Gina and welcome back I guess to the board! I'm new here so glad to meet ya!
I am TTC #1 but can speak to being raised 8 yrs younger than my closest sibling. It is still a good thing as your older children will have special but different relationships with the younger one. I got all the benefit of a large family and some of the special side of individual time with my parents and very special relationships with my older sisters....I wouldn't trade it for the world!

well that's good to hear that it wasn't a negative thing for you. My hubby is bummed cuz Alyssa will be 8 when the baby is born (if i get pg right away) but i think she will love it and be a little mommy. she will be so excited! she's wanted me to have a baby for a while now but i keep telling her mommy is donewon't she be surprised? Logan will be 5 but I think they will still be able to have a good relationship don't you?

They will have a special relationship. For me it is much different than thr relationship my two sisters have with each other (they are 2 yrs apart) but I grew up with 3 moms and ended up with two amazing best friends. I hd people to confide in during those years your parents are not comfortable to talk to who had enough wisdom to know when I needed support or direction. They will be great whatever age they are. GL!
