    Default 10dpo

My temp usually drops a day or two before af. Yesterday (9dpo), it stopped to descend. I've been hoping to get an extra day out of my lp which has been 9 days. Looks like I might get that extra day this month! Probably jinxing myself by even saying anything, but my temp went back up. I keep telling myself it's because DS is teething and was waking me frequently last night, but that's been an issue for several days. Feeling crampy, but hopeful that I might make it to 11dpo before af arrives. And, yes, I tested this morning. I told myself I would if my temp went up because my pg chart from Nov 2009 had a similar rise on 11dpo...BFN this morning. I'll settle for the consolation prize of a longer lp though because an lp of 10-11 days would give me hope!

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you that you've added more days onto LP!!!

Have you been doing anything specifically to increase it? Vitamins? Herbal supplements?
I just started tracking mine last month as I didn't even know what LP was, and/or that I might have a short LP. (I think you were the one that made me aware of it )

I haven't being doing anything to increase my lp (mainly because that would involve weaning my DS). My "normal" (ie not bf'ing) cycle has ovulation around cd14 and a 13-14 day lp. Nothing is "normal" yet, but we're still trying because I had fertility issues several years ago and I'm not getting any younger. Are you charting in any way, shape, or form? I'm a closet chart stalker.

I haven't tried any charting. I don't want to chart BBT bc I don't always work everyday (substitute teacher) therefore I'm not getting up at the same time each morning, so afraid my #s would be distorted. I haven't even used OPK - do those usually work?

I hope your temp is accurate and your LP is growing longer! Good luck, girl!

I'm a substitute teacher too and also don't chart! Haha. I'm a total insomniac anyway and so I always figured since I'm up and down all night all the time it probably wouldn't be too accurate. Plus when I sub I get up at about 6:30 and when I don't, if I can't sleep, it's more like 10. Lol. Good luck sweetie!

Beth I'm rooting for you and your longer LP! My LP for our first month trying was like 8 days which I didn't know at the time was horrible. That's the shortest it's ever been though. It's more like 12-15 now. It's super long when I'm on Clomid 15-16 which I hate cause it makes the 2WW so much longer it seems. Lol. Good luck! I hope it keeps getting longer and you get your BFP soon!

Meds make my 2WW much longer than my usual 13-14 day LP. That extra progesterone can make you feel pregnant and extend your LP which can be maddening when it isn't true.

11dpo...my temp went up further. The pattern is exactly like my only pregnancy chart with one exception...no BFP. My throat started to hurt yesterday afternoon and I was exhausted last night. I feel foggy headed this morning like I'm getting a sinus infection. Pretty sure that's why my temps are up. The good news is that I at least got that extra day in my lp. I feel like a 10-11 day lp is long enough to possibly get pregnant.

I'm definitely getting sick. Wish I could go home and go to bed, but next week is Finals Week and I don't feel that it would be fair to ask students to self-learn the material we haven't covered yet. Feeling crampy and anticipating af to start this afternoon. Pretty excited about my lengthening LP though!
