Okay ladies, I am sick of these long cycles and O'ing past cd28. I know other women out there have these issues too. Any ideas on what to do to keep my cycles more normal??
I have been charting since March and I have O'd on CD 19, CD20, CD 38, CD16, and CD 30. My DD was conceived on CD 60 so I know I can still get pregnant with a long cycle but I get stressed out waiting so long to O. I charted for about 9 months before TTC my dayghter and had long cycles then too. i do not O if my husband is gone. i can have fertile signs and CM but if he leaves before I O then the signs go away and come back when he has been home a few days. That is what has led me to believe my issues are related to my mood and stress level. I have decided to dedicate this month to getting back into a regular exercise routine since I often feel happier about everything when I am improving my fitness. Any other suggestions for me?
Wow. Exercise and good eating are the only suggestions I would have. I've had wonky cycles my whole life, but nothing like that. That is crazy that your cycles are so tangled up with your mood/stress level. I know it has to be annoying waiting so long for O, but in a way it also seems like not all bad since your body waits for DH to come home before Oing. Frustrating for sure though. I hope you either get knocked up or figure out how to control your cycles soon. Remind me, is your DH due for deployment? Also, I'm sure you've said, but how long did you TTC your DD?
I have always had totally zany cycles. I have yet to find anything that really works to regulate them. I have never stuck with a good fitness plan, though. That's my best guess. Good luck.

Anna, Claire was a pure luck thing. That was my first cycle we stopped preventing and we were just DTD when we felt like it, paying zero attention to fertile signs.
DH isn't up for deployment since he is in training. He could get sent to this 3-4 week long training thing in December but with the shut down that is highly unlikes and we have to be moved by the first week of January.
I've randomly read about vitamin B6 helping to move O date sooner in the cycle. No idea if there is anything to it but it's worth some research I'd think!
