Thread: Another shot at the apple??

My cycles have been really off since September, prior to that they were 30/31 days for several years.
My current cycle started on Dec 31st and I did have a temp spike last weekend but it didn't remain up. I've had crazy painful cramping since, which has dulled somewhat. CP was HSO for quite some time and lowered and firmed up CM went from watery/stretchy/eggwhite to creamy at that time, generally for me that signals AF is on the way. However my CP has moved back up, not as soft as it was before but very high, and today I noticed AM is getting watery again.
ANyone with Wonky cycles ever have a month like this? Did you eventually O? I'm temping so I'll know if I do, just wondering if I should prepare for another fertile period? DH is away so I can't BD like I'm fertile, but we'll certainly try when he gets home, regardless! LOL

Maybe you're gearing up to o now? My wonky anovulatory cycles are really short (goes with diminished ovarian reserve). Hope your body is planning to o when your DH is home!

Me too Beth! Lol CP keeps moving higher and higher again (like I can't really feel the tip anymore) and last night CM was very plentiful and super stretchy and slippery. I did have that last month too now that I go back to check my journal but I still didn't have a positive OPK, I was however using the dollar store ones that didnt seem to work earlier this cycle. I looked on FF for charts that had delayed ovulation and some seem to have several possible fertile periods so I'm not gettting hopes up but still keeping fingers crossed for now....

My anovulatory cycles are really long and when I was charting it was like my body tried to O 2-3 times and then gave up. However, most people do eventually O even if it's really late. There are quite a few things that can turn a cycle anovulatory or at least delay O for a while. Best of luck! I know it's extremely frustrating!

Had some red streaky CM earlier so I don't know, it's stopped now tho. I'd rather just have AF and be done with it at this point at least then it would bring my cycle back to normal length. Those 45 to 60+ day ones are way worse cause I keep wondering - could it be? Maybe? and end up taking a ton of tests...just in case...
