    Default Anxiety and Clomid?

I don't think I'm ovulating... look at my chart, and I called my dr and they said they will most likely put me on clomid. I have issues with anxiety anyway and have been on zoloft in the past for it. Do you think I should avoid Clomid? I am worried about having issues and needing zoloft again cuz then we cant TTC. I asked for Femara and the dr said they don't have experience with that drug. I know my hubby won't want me to see an RE cuz hes' already saying "maybe we should be happy we have 2 and stop?" and I don't want to give up yet. ahhhhh! what would you do?

Clomid didn't increase my anxiety. Everyone is going to have different side effects, but it's going to be up to you to determine if they are worth it for you. Also, I would want to confirm for sure whether you are Oing on your own before getting that Clomid script. They can do a progesterone blood test on CD 21 (which they do anyway while on clomid usually) to determine whether you O or not. You could get that done a couple of months without taking clomid and see if you are really not Oing.

Also, if you want to avoid Clomid in favor of Femera, you might ask for a referral to another OB who has more experience with it and would be able to provide proper care. I know some OB's don't like to prescribe Femera if they don't have a lot of experience or knowledge about it.

    KUP on what you decide.

I just looked at your chart. Why do you think you aren't Oing? You are getting +OPK's so that's a good sign.

Your current chart looks good to me! I think it has your O date wrong currently. If there were a few more days of temps I could tell you for sure, but it wouldn't surprise me if you O'd as late as the 23rd.
I had some FUNKY looking charts (way more funky than yours) when TTC DS and as far as I know was still Oing in the end almost every month.

I agree with pp about your cycle. I'm not convinced you aren't ovulating. Clomid won't increase your chances if you're already ovulating (and in some cases can decrease your chances by thinning your lining). I would ask your ob to check your progesterone 7 days after your ovulation date. My first ob tried to have me come in for my first cd21 test on cd21. He was insistent that it should be done on cd21. I didn't ovulate on cd14 that cycle. I ignored him and had my blood draw 7 days after my chart indicated ovulation. OT, but he was an idiot...he actually brought out charts of reproductive organs and told us we needed to have "regular, vaginal intercourse." Really? Thanks, because we were confused about that.

Oooooooh wait....vaginal intercourse makes babies?!?!?! Well there's my problem. LOL What an idiot! I'd have slapped the doc.

We're still trying to figure out if "regular" meant "normal" or "frequent." The thought that this idiot might have been on call when I went into labor is the reason we chose to deliver at a hospital 1.5 hours from here.

Judging by your siggies, I assume everyone on here has figured out how babies are made. I did make a snarky remark to this doctor about how it would probably help if I was OVULATING (he apparently couldn't read my test results or bbt charts). Our next stop was an RE.
