I'm going to chart this cycle - started today at 97.5 degrees! haha I feel silly doing all this charting and note taking as a second baby TTC, but I didn't remember how difficult and stressful it can be. Its hard for me to go just go with the flow - I want to know what my irregular body is doing!!! (I'm joining the fertility friend club)

I've been charting since I stopped taking the pill after we got married. I always had irregular cycles on the pill. At first we used charting to prevent and then later the plan was for me to just use it so I would know when to expect AF while TTC since it wouldn't help us much for predicting ovulation but as it turned out DD was conceived CD60 the first cycle we stopped preventing by pure luck. Once you get adjusted to taking your temp every morning it is really easy and at least for me, takes all the guess work out of knowing when to expect AF and when to test because I have a guaranteed 14 day LP. For predicting O, I find cervical mucous to be my best predictor. I hope the charting helps you Christine!

Hey Ladies! My name is Jess. I' was a lurker a few years back through both of my pregnancies, and I got back on the boards when we started ttc in November. I took a break from the boards and charting for the last few months, bc it was consuming me. I'm back! I'm on CD 24, and I THINK I'm about 5 dpo, but I'm basing that strictly off of cm, as I haven't charted and my cycles are irregular. DH and I bd basically every other day for 2+ weeks, so I've really got my hopes up this time. Not that I don't every time. I'm going to test on Father's Day, which would be a bit early (8+dpo) but then again I don't really know exactly when I o'd so whatever. I figured it would be a great Father's Day surprise, or it'll be a great way to ruin the day, Lol.

I'm starting to get pretty depressed about not having any success yet. I know it's only been 7 months and a lot of women endure much longer and more complicated waits, but its been a hard 7 months. If it doesn't happen this month I'm going to be ordering some opts, and charting again.

Congrats to you mommies who've already gotten your bfps, and baby dust to those who are still waiting!

Hi Jess! Nice to meet you!

I don't think my DD wants any siblings. Having fertile signs and trying to DTD last night but someone kept waking up. Between her, DH's schedule, and me going out of town this month may be a lost cause.

Thought I might post here as well! I haven't been on here in what seems like forever. I was on here for around 2 years while TTC #1. I did finally get pregnant but unfortunately that pregnancy ended in a loss. Since then we have become foster parents and how have a 7 month old (on Monday) foster daughter that we've had since birth. I had a LAP for Endometriosis a few weeks ago, and my RE recommended going ahead and trying again while things are healthy so here we are. I'm charting for the first time ever which is actually kind of fun so far (lol) and we're trying without fertility meds for this cycle at least. My doc is wanting to see if I O on my own after having surgery before putting me back on meds. I would dearly love to conceive without meds, especially since they just wear me out and my little one does that enough on her own. I'm CD 4 and AF is almost gone. Got my OPKs in the mail yesterday and am just excited to get started again!

Hi, I am new to the TTC boards, although I was here at pregnancy.org for the duration of my pregnancies with my first two sons. I am currently on my period which is almost over (sorry for the lack of the proper phrasing, but I have been away from the forums for a while since I had my second son, and I am not up to speed with the lingo yet haha). I'll pick it up as I go though!

Hi there, I just returned to the site yesterday. I was an active member during my pregnancy with my daughter and I am back again as we are trying for number 2. I use OPK's and I got a positive OPK on Tuesday and had ovulation pains all evening. So of course we that night. I also chart, so I am waiting for confirmation that I did O. I tested with another OPK yesterday and got a negative result so there's that as well. I am really hoping we caught the egg.
