How's it going ladies? Where are you in your cycle? What are you doing/tracking? What's going on outside of TTC?

Lets chit chat, ladies!

In my TTC world: waiting to ovulate (cd12). This is only my third postpartum cycle and I'm still breastfeeding. Things haven't quite returned to "normal." During my first pp cycle I ovulated on cd20 and only had an 8 day lp. Second cycle I ovulated cd19 and had a 9 day lp. Apparently my body likes 28 day cycles regardless of when I ovulate. I'm hoping that my ovulation day will continue to move closer to cd14 and that we'll have a natural miracle baby. Just kind of hanging out on this board until we see what happens in the first 6 pp cycles. If nothing, we'll be heading back to the acupuncturist and RE. For now I'm temping, using opks, tracking cm, and keeping my fingers crossed!

Outside of TTC: my DH and I spent all day yesterday installing a new water heater. What a pia! At 8:54 p.m. we realized we were one PVC elbow short of connecting our exhaust pipe and the hardware store closed at 9 p.m. Now we're waiting for the store to open so we can finish the job and HOPEFULLY have hot water. Otherwise, we'll be showering at the gym until we can find a plumber!

I'll still waiting, my bleeding seems to be tapering off to spotting now, but who knows how long it'll take for a proper period to show up.

We got DS2 his first haircut yesterday, he looks so big now it makes me sad a little lol. We're also slowly kind of weaning him a bit more, he only nurses 2x a day and right now we're working on phasing out his before bed feeding. Honestly its not too hard, right now he hardly eats when he nurses, he just snacks a bit and flops around, but when we skip the night feeding he eats a whole lot better in the morning, so we'll see.

My xmas shopping is going good. I've got DH all done, the boys about half done (got them a bunch of clothes but no toys yet), got BIL done, and the ILs and my Mom are mostly done we just need to get them a gift card each now. Of course DH hasn't even started on me yet. Now I just need to clean out our spare room so I have somewhere to wrap all the presents.

You're already Christmas shopping? I haven't even thought about Christmas yet! Well, I did think a little bit about it because we have to finish a front room on our house before we will have a place to put a tree this year. We still have to do the electrical work, finish insulating, hang drywall, refinish the oak floor, and do a bunch of other stuff so DS will have a playroom. Yes, our house has been a construction zone since we moved in. It was built in 1891 and needed some serious TLC. The upstairs is about 3/4 done. We're just getting started downstairs.

I'm at 6DPO ... Waiting until 10/31 to test. Right now I'm not really doing anything ... just waiting and hoping that this is it. We are only on our 2nd cycle and we are young (22) so I guess if it takes a while it isn't the end of the world !

We took DD trick or treating last night at a campsite. It was really fun, but today me, DH, and DD are all sick sick sick. We are all three camped out in our room watching cartoons and taking turns sleeping.

Hopefully we will be feeling better tomorrow ... we have too much going on to be under the weather for too long. Not to mention taking care of a sick 2 year old is no fun when you are sick too.

Beth, I always start my xmas shopping as early as I can afford to. I like to get a start on it in Sept, but some years I've been better than others. I'm a super planner when it comes to shopping for gifts, and money is tight this year so I've set aside $50 from each of DHs paychecks since like July to be sure we'd have enough money for everyone.

I havent' even thought about Thanksgiving, much less Christmas!! Originally I was thinking/hoping we'd me moved by then, but now it's looking like we'll still be here at Christmas... who knows.

I hope we get a nice round of BFP's around here soon. I think we are about due for another round of good news.

Wow on the Christmas shopping!!! I'm a Black Friday shopper myself, although the last few years I have done a lot of that online and avoided the crowds (and some stores have great online sales on Thanksgiving, too!)

AFM, 7 DPO. This is our 2nd IUI cycle, and hoping that after all this time it'll finally work. Beta is 10/31, but I'll know before that one way or the other. Die-hard POASer, but AF is also due the day before the beta. Otherwise, life is just chugging along at the moment...nothing much exciting (which can be a very good thing sometimes!) Biggrin

I'm 11 DPO and my temperature went down quite a bit and I'm spotting. Not sure what to think about this, so I'm just waiting to see what happens day by day. :/

I was just thinking today about wanting to go Christmas shopping early this year, but I am still trying to figure out what to get for everybody! But I am sure I will think of something, I do have a couple months yet Smile

AFM, I am still waiting to ovulate. I have been using OPKS daily to make sure we catch the eggie at the right time. I was temping but the thermometer decided to grow legs and run away, so not too sure where it is at at the moment

Anyway, I hope we all get our BFP soon, especially with the Holidays coming...what a perfect Christmas present! Smile

Well I'm still waiting on AF - near 3 weeks late and no signs of AF, far too many BFNs to be wrong, can't start tracking again until next cycle and have no idea when that'll be! Time to see the doc again....
In other news, we had a very quiet weekend puttering around the house and spending some time as a family Smile
Still haven't started Christmas shopping and DH is actually nearly done shopping for me! He likes to spoil his girls and he got an early start this year which shocked me. Makes me want to snoop but I think he's hiding stuff at work so that I'll never find it LOL.
